Works very well with lacquer thinner very sturdy and doesn’t drip.
The price was ridiculous for a plastic bottle. It also drips a bit after each use, but I suppose it would be next to impossible not to. That said, with all the little oil lamps I have, I wish I’d bought one 20yrs ago! No more trying to pour a one-gallon bottle of oil into a tiny lamp-opening while trying not to spill all over the coffee table! Free at last! Free at last!
This is my 3rd bottle, the biggest problem is they always split and develop a leak along the seam
Good product for what is does....makes it easy to refill the little Tea Lamps. So-So design due to fuel drips. You really have to work hard to keep excess fuel from dripping out...l had to put a diaper on mine...it the form of a "catch-dish" after each use. No matter what... fuel drips out.Price is high for this. But I do not regret the purchase, and I wont give it up. It is almost perfect...with just a few design flaws. BTW, the bottle is so soft and pliable that if you just look at it the wrong way it will push fuel out. A better design would be a "Pump" type that has a pressure relief aperture. You see, when you pick the bottle up, just the pressure of a light grasp will collapse the bottle some and thus force out fuel.
This is a disappointing product. I wanted to like it, but frankly it is a poor design for its advertised use. What cannot be seen from the picture is that the spout is supplied by an internal straw which goes to the bottom of the bottle. This means that you can't POUR the oil out of the bottle, you have to squeeze it out. That is not the problem, the problem is there is no way to stop the supply AND let the oil drain out of the spout. So the bottle drips at least a few drops after every time it is used. And I don't mean you just need to wait an extra few seconds, I mean that the spout contains oil that doesn't go back into the bottle (because the straw is also full of oil) and therefore the spout drips anytime the bottle is squeezed, bumped, etc.Spending $10 to buy a single purpose item which functions terribly is very frustrating. I would return it if I could, but of course I'm past the 30 day mark. Hopefully I can save anyone else from wasting their money.
The refill bottle makes refilling liquid candles easy, all due to the exact instructions included with the bottle by the CEO of the company that produces the bottle. Another item well worth the purchase price. The humor of the CEO in his instructions, and his sincere method of promoting safety are appreciated and will solidify his business.
