Great ambiance, versatile, no stink if used right
This is just a 3 oz glass container to hold combustible oil. Its a little pricey because its hand-blown glass. The company provides great instructions that if followed will result in a good experience. If you like the way it looks, buy it. You can also use their parts sold separately (wicks and wick holders) to make an oil candle out of any glass/mason/condiment jars with metal lids.Compared to wax candles there is no comparison. No issue with tunneling and much less wick maintenance. Candle can be burned a few minutes or a few hours without care to the life of the candle.Burns between 5-20 hours without wick maintenance which is simply rubbing off the carbon with paper towel or TP, then pushing up the wick (a straightened paper clip from underside of wick holder works well). Each maintenance consumes about 1mm of wick so the wicks will last hundreds to a few thousand hours.Keep wicks extended less than a milimeter and keep flame 1/4 to 3/4 inch tall to avoid smoke. The flame doubles or triples in size once the wick holder warms up so start with tiny blue flame or a couple millimeters of yellow flame and watch it grow to desired size. If the flame dances or bubbling/sizzling noises are heard its burning smokey. To fix service the wick and ensure flame is small as its a candle, not a torch. Can burn any kerosene class fuel that is combustible (vs flammable). However low odor lamp/parrafin oils will produce similar or less stink than wax candles when wick/flame are appropriate height. Fuels closer to 1-K will work but stink more.

Great candle if you know a few tricks
I bought all three sizes to fit 3 different candle holders and they worked quite well. See photo #1.The thickness of the glass seems ok but I don’t think these would survive a drop or being transported in, say, a box without padding around them. They aren’t super thick. The sheerness (clearness) of the glass is very good, but I don’t see this this matters any way.I agree with another reviewer: you need something with a skinny neck to fill these if you don’t want to make a complete mess. Paraffin oil spills and spreads EASILY. I ruined an iPhone because paraffin oil that leaked onto my table leached over to my phone sitting about 10 inches away. BE CAREFUL.See photo #3 for bottle I use to fill these. These are “eye wash” squeeze bottles (bought on Amazon) meant for cleaning out your eyes in case of chemical splash. They are excellent for filling the Firefly glass candles. NO MESS. NO SPILLAGE.But you do need to fill the Mae squeeze bottles with the paraffin oil, which poses another problem: how to fill the squeeze bottles without creating a giant, oily mess (the neck of the paraffin bottle is large and, so, oil gets EVERYWHERE when pouring from them).I bought a milk carton spout (see red spout in photo #4 and #5) - again, from Amazon. WorkED LIKE A DREAM! Was able to pour the oils with ZERO spillage.Poured the oil into the squeeze bottles using a funnel. See photo #6. I’m pretty sure I got the funnel from Amazon as well (“your welcome” Jeff Bezos).Any who.... hope this review is helpful to someone! Love have candles that burn longer than a few hours! One tip: (someone else said this) pull the wick back to tiny-tiny (like an 8th of an inch, even). The candle burns lower and slower. In the first pick you can see that on e of the candles has a much bigger flame. The wick is only slightly longer than the other two candles, but it’s enough to make a big difference. If the flame is this high, it will burn through the oil in no time! You want the flame to be smallish if you want the candle light to last longer.

This is a beautiful and low-cost solution for everyday candle use
I was looking for a refillable candle, since I like to keep a candle lit on my mantle every day.I've settled on this Firefly Fuels Refillable Glass Oil Candle - 5 oz, along with the Firefly Refill Bottle for Refillable Liquid Candles and Oil Lamps. The little funnel that originally came with the Firefly refillable candle didn't work for me, so I purchased the Firefly refill bottle and now my refill process works great.Economics: While I appreciated the convenience of single use candles, the expense started to add up. With this refillable liquid candle and associated refill bottle, my cost has gone down to under $1.00 per day. This liquid candle is both simple and beautiful.Caution: Be aware that refilling liquid candles can be a little bit messy. Initially, I found it to be messier than single-use candles. But with a little effort, I was able to create a refilling process that is both quick and easy.

Mighty Little Candle Lamp
This fits exactly the spot I had intended for it. Love that it burns for hours and it’s so much cleaner burning than using candles. I did switch out the cotton wick for carbon felt which will last indefinitely. Overall 5 stars!

Oil evaporates out.
The glass is very fragile. The wick slips down a lot and strangely the oil evaporates out. I will fill it halfway and use it few times for not very long and not too long later there’s no oil in it. I have another oil amp that does not do that and the top seems pretty well covering the opening. For the money I spent I’m not really impressed.

Super Cute - would buy larger size in future.
This product is super adorable and a fabulous substitution for a tea candle. My only recommendation would be to buy the larger size product as the 2oz candle needs to be filled after an evening use. Everything about this product is vary nice though. I love the light, it is easy to fill, and is much more durable than I expected.Good Value for the Price!

Small but beautiful
A bit pricey, but this is SO beautiful and holds enough lamp oil so it will burn for quite some time! The candle is about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide and comes with a tiny funnel, which is very helpful with filling. Although, I have a condiment bottle with a nozzle that I keep lamp oil in and it is even better for filling little oil candles - the nozzle fits right in the opening! This company's candles are really beautiful and, in my opinion, are worth it, although it would be nice if they included some extra wicks. They just look so clean and beautiful and make for such a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!
