Beautiful! These are a great addition with my velvet curtains and add a feminine touch. They are thick enough to block being able to see inside well- this keeps my dogs from barking a bit! But they let in the morning sun perfectly. Appear sturdy and keeping up well in a crazy household. The curtain fell one day and my husband put it back on wrong so in the picture you can actually see both insert options! Beautiful Lace Curtains!

These curtains lend a lovely vintage look to my living room, which is what I was looking for. The ivory color meets my expectations, and they drape nicely, providing some privacy while filtering light into the room. The bottom hems on one or two panels was "bubbling", but pressing with a cool iron took care of that. Regarding the size and length of the panels, I haven't noticed any uneven ones that some reviewers commented on. I haven't washed them yet, so I cannot comment how well they launder, but based on how well they are made, I think they should be OK after washing.

Sturdy Curtains that allow in a lot of light

These curtains are really beautiful and sturdy, Sadly I've had to screw them to the wall because the curtain rod I bought wasn't adjustable enough and we NEEDED curtains, but the good news is that they were sturdy enough to deal with having a screw driven though them without ripping. My cats tore down the old curtain and it was in a really weird location that makes it hard to hang curtains (right at ceiling level above spiral stairs). The curtains are quite a nice weight and so far my 12 cats haven't destroyed them or caused any damage to them.The curtains smell quite nasty when they arrive but they went through a delicate wash cycle with no issue, hung in the shower overnight to dry (IIRC the label says not to dry them in a dryer) dried very quickly, maybe 6 hours.I think in our dark hallway these curtains provide good privacy when they're hung on a double rod. If you're a nudist you'll definitely want to double or triple hang these but I love them, they allow a lot of light through while (hopefully) stopping the neighbors from seeing you coming out of the shower.
