My son’s room is over a garage and the floor is very cold. I bought this to provide extra warmth under a rug. It might be slightly bigger than the stated size but very easy to trim. It is a nice thickness to allow the door to close and you can definitely feel the difference in warmth from it. Well worth the price.

This product is priced well and works great with my rug. The rug isn’t moving.
This rug liner was the perfect size, and I didn’t have to trim it at all. I don’t feel like it added much sickness under the rug or provided much cushion. If you don’t have furniture on top of your rug, it will slide around the floor with this liner under it.
This is NOT a thick felt pad by any means!!! It says 1/4 thick but it's more like 1/8. It has no grip on my hardwood floors and is actually making it dangerous to walk on the carpet now. Too much of a hassle to return, but I am going to have to buy several run grip stickers so that the pad does not move at all. Disappointed
This rug pad is a joke. I absolutely would never ever recommend. I purchased it thinking that it would not slip and also that it was a quarter inch thick. It's not even close to a quarter inch thick. Think thin felt. Also, it is slippery as all get out. There is no non-slip factor to this. I would have returned it but I had a rug that was rolled up and it needed to go down. It will work okay in my bedroom under my bed, which is where I put it. However, if you were putting this somewhere where it was not being tied down with furniture, it would be slippery and quite dangerous even under a rug. I have mine on a hardwood bamboo floor.
