Not at all durable snags immediately

After moving bedroom furniture out, placing rug and then moving furniture in..looked great . An hour later friend came and went in room to see new bed and rug. By simply walking in room with dogs as we left several snags were there and since the weave is so thin can't even just trim or you would see backing. I've had rugs for years and never had issues . Sadly now have to again remove furniture to return it.

Emphasis on the FAUX

Review by my wife: I knew this was faux jute going into the purchase, but I do wish it had been a little thicker to give it a more realistic look. I haven't noticed any shedding, which is a plus compared to real jute rugs. I appreciate that it's machine washable - I haven't had to wash it yet, so it remains to be seen how it looks and feels after laundering. Overall, it's a fine rug. It does it's job, but I don't expect it to hold up long term.

Quite a nice woven texture for a faux jute rug, easy to clean, good value

This product is a 2x3’ machine-washable, faux jute rug/floor mat. It’s well-made, with nice-quality stitching. Even though it’s made from polypropylene, which is an inexpensive plastic, it feels like a more natural woven material, presumably because of the cotton composite. It’s thicker and softer than I would have expected for this type of material, although still thin enough to fit under doors, and the texture is rough enough to scrape the dirt off of shoes. It also stays put quite well on my tile floor and I love that it has a waterproof base layer. I got the beige-colored rug because I thought it was the prettiest, even though the camel color might cover up dirt better. The rug has no pattern and while the neutral, homogeneous color is a bit on the boring side, I like it because it doesn’t detract from my other décor. The rug is UV-resistant, although that feature is less useful since it’s designed for indoor use only. The rug would have been more versatile if it could have been used outdoors and it certainly looks and feels like an indoor/outdoor mat, although presumably it would deteriorate too quickly outside. The size is only minimally adequate for use as my front door mat, but for the price (currently $19.99), it’s a good value, given the rug’s relatively high quality and how easy it is to clean it. The rugs do come in larger sizes, albeit at a considerably higher price point.

Great pet friendly rug

I got this rug to go in front of the food and water dishes for my dogs. It works great, and is easy to clean since you can put it in the wash. It's thin, but not too thin, and is soft considering how thin it is. It doesn't slip around easily, and has a waterproof layer on the bottom that keeps things from seeping through. Overall a great option for me.
