Very simple to put together and looks really cool
This is a fun item! It has this great dragon design, with a textured side. There are just two pieces so it's very easy to assemble and no instructions are required. You can figure it out yourself. It does feel sturdy and can stand on its own. I think this is best used with an electric tea light behind it, but as long as you don't leave it unattended or in a fire hazard area, you could use this with a regular tea light instead. Having a light behind it really makes the design pop more. It would make a great gift for a book or fantasy lover, and it comes nicely packaged in a cute box. It's very lightweight and portable too.

I have mixed feelings about this. It looks neat in the pictures; especially the dark one with the candle glowing. The aesthetic is cool for a fantasy/medieval library kind of look. It could be a great-looking bookend / mood-lighting sort of thing. That said, in reality, the quality is just not good. It's made of a very, very thin, balsa wood type material that looks cheap. The "stained glass" part is not actual glass; it's just acrylic. So, what could look really fire, just comes off looking sort of cheesy.I had thought it would make a nice gift for some of the nerdy folks in my life, but I wound up not using it for that, because it didn't really look like a giftable quality item to me. For the price (currently $19.99), I just don't feel the value is there. If it were made well and looked more solid, more... I don't know... "old" or "antiqued", maybe, I think it would be a much better value and a much better gift. It looks alright with the candle shining through it (we use a flameless candle so as not to set any books on fire). But again, the quality is just not there.A good idea; executed poorly.

Nice design but could not assemble
I enjoy fantasy themed artwork and was intrigued by this item. I planned on using this as a decorative touch on my bookshelf. When I received the item, it was unassembled and came in 2 parts. The dragon looks just like in the product photos, it's a lovely illustrated graphic and looks striking in person. The problem I encountered was in trying to attach it to the base. I could not make the tab fit in the slot and the tab on the dragon graphic ended up breaking, to my dismay. I will likely use the dragon graphic in a future product, but for me, it just didn't function as I expected. The quality is basic, like balsa wood, so you have to be very gentle with it.

Beautiful artwork on this detailed book nook
I’m pleasantly surprised by this book nook. The setup couldn’t be any simpler as it comes with a wooden stand where you can insert the “glass pane” notch. This is a double sided dragon design that looks just like real stained glass. And the faux window pane is so beautifully detailed. There is a 3-dimensional wooden frame accents along the edges. The detailed artwork is phenomenal, with vibrant colors. I love that you can place a tea light sized candle behind the pane which glows through the front. There is so much attention to detail here, down to the protective multi layer packaging. Any book lover would love this, and it would make a great gift. Also as an added bonus, it’s double sided! You get two different designs in one. The front holds a majestic dragon atop a mountain, and the alternate side features two dragons flying in the sky in a yin-yang style.
