Thin, soft, non slip

It’s pretty, it’s cheap, it works for my situation. For me it works as a temporary solution. We moved into a new house and won’t be here for more than 3 yrs. I just needed something to get me over that hump. It’s got a cute pattern, soft, slip resistant and will keep my feet warm this winter. I didn’t notice any kind of smell that was bothersome to me but there was a spot that looked a little darker, like dirty but not actually dirty. I think it’s just the nap is raised in a strange way there. I just positioned it under the furniture and got on with it. It is pretty thin so you have to realize it’s not exactly a high quality item, but serviceable in certain situations.

Is it dirty?

Update: The manufacturer got back to me quickly requesting photos. They stated that the background is cream and gray which is why I see the color variation. Kind of interesting to not make it all consistent, but I appreciated the prompt reply and explanation. I am keeping the rug because the colors go well with my daughter’s room and the price is right.Just received my rug and immediately opened. It’s a beautiful pattern and coloring, but it looks dirty. I’ve contacted the manufacturer to see if this one is dirty, and I need a replacement or if this is just the coloring of the rug in which I will return. My kids will get it dirty as is so I don’t need it to start off looking dirty 😑

The rug is a beautiful color and a good size, and it didn't change after washing. The instructions say not to tumble dry the rug, which might be a no-brainer for some, but it's not ideal for us; it needs to be dried flat. The edges did become wavy, so we're taking off one star.
