Quite a bit shaggier than images would suggest, but still okay.

This is definitely not what I expected based off of the product images, but I kind of like it better this way. The moss is drapes off of the ball rather than staying tight in a ball shape. One unfortunately thing is you have two options... embrace that it's going to hang and sort of brush it out to look more natural or try to force it into a ball and make it look lumpy and weird. I went with brushing it out, which brought up another unfortunate issue. Sometimes you get nice natural looking strands, but other times you get clumps hanging at the bottom of those strands. The material is so delicate that you can just pull those clumps out, but then you're losing moss. Thankfully I have other things I can do with it, but it would be nice if it kept its shape like in the photos and didn't come apart as easily.The color is nice and I like it for what it is, but it's not really what the product images advertise. I suppose for the price you could do worse, and some people might even prefer it this way like I do. I just worry about longevity. If you planned to put it outside like the title suggests, even in a covered porch or something, I think few strong breezes would tear it apart.

Needs improvement

This moss ball is horrible. Most of the moss was hanging off when I took it out of the package, after I tried to wrap it back onto the ball the best I could to take these pictures it was already starting to blow off in the wind again. I have seen these in other places made a whole lot nicer. The quality of the moss and the way it is put on the ball is just horrible. It definitely looks fake just like the descriptions says. This was very messy and I am still finding pieces of the moss all over my home, it sheds bad. I do not recommend this product it is not well made and it does look fake.
