So pretty! They don't feel real, but they look real, you could fool me at least. Romantic, light, barely-there pink. My picture is with 8 stems. I might add more but I think it looks full enough. The attend are great because they're very bendable. I have them bent about 1 inch in order to achieve this height sitting in my vase. I'd recommend them for sure. Good value.
Pretty
These delphiniums really look like delphiniums, at least from a distance. These are a beautiful shade of blue with green stems. The flowers are securely attached to the stems. It would take some serious yanking to pull the flowers off. They seem to be of pretty good quality and that they will last for quite some time. The stems are pretty bendable, which makes it easier for you to arrange them the way that you would like. Until fall arrived, I had them arranged in a tall glass cylinder of marbles on my dining room table. I was considering putting some fairy lights on them but I never got around to it.
I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. These are beautiful, well-made, artificial delphiniums. The flowers are striking with a blend of colors, including a gradient of the primary color (blue in my case) throughout the petals along with white and greenish throats, all of which adds to their realism. The stems are thick and well-shaped, including nubs where lower leaves would have been stripped off. The stems are also coated with a soft, velvet-like material, making them even feel more real. This is a nice upgrade from other brands that just have hard plastic stems.The stems come gently folded in half and tucked into a small box, so you will need to spend a little effort shaping each stem. Be sure to also fluff the flowers and leaves. While the leaf and flower stems themselves are just molded plastic (and have no wire support like the main stem), they can still be somewhat coaxed into shape. But more importantly, the edges of some of the petals of one flower might be stuck to the glue used to secure another nearby flower to the stem. By combing your fingers through the flowers, you can easily find these “stuck” petals and gently pull them free. This will allow each flower to stand on its own and make the stems appear more full and natural.My only comment is that if you’re familiar with delphiniums (a/k/a larkspurs), you’ll know many are known for their grand size. Some of the largest varieties have flower spikes that can be several feet tall (just the flowers themselves – not even including the stems supporting the flower heads). There are other more compact varieties, and these artificial delphiniums are clearly meant to mimic these smaller varieties. While each stem is just under 24 inches tall, the flower head itself is only about 9 inches. So if you’re looking for the drama of large delphinium flowers, other larger/taller brands might be better. These artificial delphiniums are better suited for smaller and more compact arrangements.
My flowers arrived about the same time as a couple of other reviewers who received squashed flowers. For whatever reason, mine had the long stems bent to fit in the box, but the flower petals were perfectly fluffy and ready to use. I chose these with a partially finished arrangement in mind. It's a summer design with a cool white, fluted ceramic vase holding various flowers in shades of white. I was working with a pallet of clear, refreshing shades of white (not creamy) so these bright white delphinium were good in the background.I knew I needed a few stems that were taller in the arrangement. These turned out to be the perfect size and shape. I only had to measure and cut off a few inches at the bottom of the stems to complete the design. I didn't have to be careful when handling them because they are quite sturdy, no flowers or leaves were in danger of falling off.They are priced about the same as what I would pay at a craft store at regular (not sale) prices. I only needed 3 of the 8 stems for the arrangement I was working on. However, I'm sure I will use the rest in other arrangements because they do fill that common need for tall, vertical accents. This are superlative in that roll.
Very nice looking and realistically textured flowers. I got the Delphinium in white, and they really do look quite realistic, at least from a small distance away as with most artificial flowers. That said, these ones are some of the best artificial ones I have had now. The soft fuzzy texture on the stems and the buds adds quite a bit of realism to their look and, after spending a few minutes to get them properly fluffed out of their initial packaging, the leaves and petals themselves really do appear to be in full bloom white with both vibrant to more subtle shades of green coming through. Really well done here. Only issue is that the stems are not nearly as easy to cut as they make them out in the description. Instead of fighting that, I've decided best thing is to simply get a taller vase that will look better with the flowers anyway. Not a bad solution to a very minor problem with these.
