Not exactly what I imagined.

Putting these together, the 1st one took me longer than I felt like it should had taken and my husband ended up getting the top on for me. The second one I put together really quickly. The third one (largest) actually took the both of us to fit the top on. We ended up using a flat head to help fit the top. Because 2 out of 3 gave me trouble, I didn't find it as easy to assemble as the directions portrayed.There is a gap on the middle stand where it looks like the top isn't on all the way, but it actually is. So they didn't all fit perfectly.The stands got dog hair sticking to then immediately. It is just a magnet for the dog hair even though I swept before putting these together. They feel decently sturdy for lightweight items. I honestly wouldn't trust a cake on it throughout a party though. I am going to use one to put a single cupcake on for my daughter to blow out when it is time though.I feel like the price is high for this item. Over $100 feels too expensive for the what it is.

professional looking, nest together for storage

The three-piece round display cylinders from Farhkns are functional and very professional-looking. The plinths arrive virtually flat, but with support from the bottom acrylic ring and the top lid, the flexible plastic sheeting holds its circular shape. I needed to use a thin knife as a type of shoehorn to get the lid in place. The lids could be stronger, as they give when I push on them with my hands. I placed my husband's 15 pound hand weight on the largest cylinder and while it did hold I would not be confident leaving that load on it for long. The units nest into each other for storage purposes.
