The blue was a total steal, so I bought an extra one..
First, Gorgeous! Second, ermahgerd, it's amazing to find a curtain panel that's 20 feet tall. Not wide. Tall. No seams. No patching two (or 3 or 4) together to get there. Just one flawless, continuous expanse of Navy Blue that was so long I thought my mother might disappear over the horizon at the other end of it when we first stretched it out.It had no wrinkles. I have no idea how they pulled that one off, but it didn't have a crease or any sign of having been folded up and packaged and shipped all the way here to the middle of nowhere.Keep in mind that it isn't a set, but one panel, and the more "waves" a person wants when the drapes are drawn closed, the more panels they're going to need.I found one panel on Vine as a free item for my honest review, but I looked at the listing and saw that the Navy was Dramatically less money than the others, so I bought another panel without any hesitation, partially because I was a bit concerned that it might change to match the price of all the others at any moment.I got the deal of the century on the other panel, plus the first for free, and I honestly feel like I won a prize. These are like a prize, too. They are just plain beautiful. The blue is just the right shade to act as a neutral. They're heavy, but not so heavy that they'll be difficult to flip open or closed without some mechanism or a tool to reach the top.I held the fabric up to a very bright direct light and only a sparse smattering of the tiniest little specks of light could be seen through it, so I'd say that definitely qualifies as a "blackout" fabric. The stitching is clean and straight, the fabric is buttery soft and smooth with a muted satiny sheen, but only when the light hits it just right, which is absolutely perfect and not at all too much "shiny", the grommets are set evenly and completely, the silver with the navy blue is simply maritime treasure reminiscent, they're flawless and ready to hang right out of the package, and they're overall just some really, really nice drapes.Do check the different colors and sizes, and hopefully you'll find one has a deep, deep discount like I found on mine. Long drapes aren't ever cheap, and these are, honestly, a very fair deal at the full price. I do love a bargain, though, and I sure got one. It really does feel like winning.I'll keep sending out an intention for the deal I got to stay available, because these are great curtains, and I hope everyone who needs really long drapes can happily and easily get them.(Hint: Check the navy blue.)
