I've been searching for the right curtains and I finally found a winner!

I tried six different sets of curtains before trying this pair, but I'm glad I held out. I was looking for a light filtering, well made curtain, with grommets and with privacy, and I finally found a winner! The fabric is a blended weave with the look of burlap, but has the softness of a poly-cotton weave. They are thicker than some of the others I've tried, but they're not heavy. I would consider them medium weight. The color is exactly what it shows online, not a solid color but a blend. Mine are light green with silvery-white running through them. The grommets not only make them a breeze to install, but it also makes them very easy to open and shut. They are light filtering but give plenty of privacy. You can see some movement behind the curtains but no details. These curtains are exactly the size I ordered (52"x84"). I ordered two sets because I have an extra-wide sliding door, and they fit my slider to a tee. If you look at my pictures, one is of them is of the hem, which is perfectly even and straight. The online description says you can machine wash them and you really can. The tag on the curtains advised hand-wash, but I washed them in cold water, on a gentle cycle and even threw them in the dryer and they came out beautifully. I didn't want to write this review until I'd had a chance to wash them and use them awhile, but I love them. Even my husband loves them, and apparently my dog does too since she wouldn't get out of the picture frame!

Good curtain solution for the money

First of all, these are NOT Flax or burlap. More likely a synthetic combination, but whatever, they hang beautifully and needed little if any ironing to remove packaging creases.I got the beige, which is actually a mix of two off-whites...very clean and neutral. The fullness seen in the photo comes from 4 panels. The 120" length was still more than I needed for my Xtra tall French doors, so I just turned up and hand-sewed the hem, creating a lovely "border" which also contributes to the curtains hanging so nicely.Also, contrary to package description, these are not blackout or sound filtering!All in all, very pleased with this great solution to excessive Winter sun for about 150.00.
