Nice valance
I really like this valance. The material is fairly thick, the jacquard pattern and tassels are so pretty. It is well made. I gave it a quick press on low heat, and up it went. It's a perfect match to the sheers I purchased last year. I need to order 4 more for my other windows.

LOVELY!!!
I bought the 52x84” panel, which is what I needed to replace our old jacquard scroll curtain that we used for over 10 years in our basement living room window. For $18.99 (a single panel!), I thought this would be a “sure return” but was delighted to find that I was completely wrong in my premature judgement and assumption! This is a very good quality and very attractive curtain for the price.Though we have blinds in all our windows, I wanted to put this curtain “to the blackout test” and was definitely surprised that it actually blocks light pretty well.I can’t say whether it’s 100% blackout but I can definitely say that the taupe panel surely blocks any light and/or light streaks that pass through the blind and it also doesn’t show any light when the blind is opened!I took these pictures in the afternoon, which is when sunlight “hits” that side of our house and therefore, it’s when sunlight hits that window. The blind is closed in all pictures, except the last one. I opened the blind before taking the last picture to see if there was going to be any difference in room lighting, and again, to my surprise, there was NO DIFFERENCE IN ROOM LIGHTING WHATSOEVER!This taupe panel makes daytime looks more like nighttime inside our basement living room. The fabric is “suede soft” and there were only the usual “folding wrinkles”.I was in a hurry to hang it before Christmas so I didn’t wash the panel but I used our HE LG dryer in steam mode to get rid of the “folding wrinkles”.Once steam-dry cycle eliminated most of the “folding” wrinkles but it left some of the large folding marks, which can be seen in my “close up” pictures but it’s not as noticeable when we step away from the window.Since 84” length was a bit longer than what I needed for that window, I cut a good portion of the bottom (about 6 to 8 inches).I’ll be taking it down soon in order to sew the hem and plan to run another steam-dry cycle.I don’t wish to use an iron over this fabric but that’s just personal preference…I’m sure it’s safe to iron this curtain on low heat…We’ve had this curtain for a couple months and the thread used on it appears to be of very good quality but only time will tell. The thread used on the scroll pattern is a beautiful golden color and it’s a perfect contrasting color against the panel’s taupe shade.I do wish that the scroll pattern (thread) would sparkle a bit more from a distance. The “sparkle” is only truly noticeable when we’re right next to the panel. From about 3 feet away or more, the scroll pattern looks more like a dark brown color than a “sparkly” golden color.Regardless, this is definitely a beautiful curtain panel and in my opinion, the taupe color worked as a perfect contrasting accent to our basement living room “brown/beige” theme color. There were no threads hanging off any parts of this panel, including the scroll pattern, which is absolutely outstanding, especially considering the discounted price I paid for this!I only deducted one star due the lack of panel size options, which is something that makes my searches for decent, affordable, and attractive curtain panels truly frustrating, to say the least! Not to deviate from the actual review topic here, but the limitations in curtain panel sizes, patterns, and colors is something that truly boggles my mind! It’s beyond frustrating to find the desired fabric, pattern, and color in wrong sizes and vice versa! As far as this taupe panel goes, I definitely recommend this curtain!
