These are beautiful in my yellow themed living room. They add just a touch of elegance and personality. They're a perfect height and length for my tall farm house windows and bring life to the room. Since they are valances, they don't really do much in the way of blocking light, but they're nice and thick, easy to wash, and stay in place perfectly!
These are beautiful valances! The color is a beautiful dark teal, just like I wanted and they are well made. It was a great buy at an inexpensive price! I have gotten lots of compliments on them!

Looks great but do not dry in the dryer ! I also would be wary of putting it in the washing machine. All the decorative beads and tassels fall off. I had to buy a replacement one...couldn't return it because I had it too long before I ever felt that it needed to be washed. I needed a cobalt blue curtain for an accent in my kitchen and this was the only one I could find. The color IS great, and it is shiny, which makes the color really "pop"!
I am so pleased with these valances! The quality is excellent - the fabric feels very soft, but is not too heavy, thin or stiff. I put them up right out of the package - no need for pressing. I ordered the brown - and it's a rich chocolate brown. The braiding on the edge and the tassels are securely attached and the gold is a soft, burnished color. I use mini blinds with a valance on top and purchased these for my upstairs. They look so lovely, I ordered more for my downstairs windows. I guess you could say they give a boho look to my rooms - but in a rich, classy way. They are not tacky at all. These are well worth the investment and I especially liked they could be purchased with two to a package as I have several double windows. Do not hesitate to add these to your decor!!! FYI - when you place your order, you'll get a long lead time (like a month) - but do not worry! They actually ship within a week.
Perfect to match my living room decor
This peacock blue valence with gold accents really dresses up my bedroom space! The fabric is thick and luxurious, and the workmanship is top-notch. It looks professionally designed on the burnished gold rod with decorative brackets and finials that I mounted it on. I paired it with antique gold colored faux dupioni silk floor-length curtains on each side of the window. It gives my bedroom an elegant Venetian feeling, and the peacock blue and gold colors pull out those colors from my artwork throughout the room. My velvet bed coverlet is also peacock blue.
