I really like these bookends. They replaced a lighter set that was not nearly heavy enough. These have the heft I needed for a number of books. They are attractive too, and they've garnered some comments from visitors.
I got these elephant bookends to put on an old family bookcase. Everything is just right - the size, the weight, and the color has a desired vintage hue. I believe the description said they were made of resin, but they feel like old cast iron bookends - perfect.

Love these. Heavy and sturdy .. just what I was looking for.
I love these little guys. However I learned quickly they can't hold too much on their own. I used earthquake puddy to keep them in place. They are heavy in the hands, but not heavy enough to handle extra large books. I think they would need to be heavier and all around bigger to accommodate other books
Smaller than expected, but still heavy because it is cast iron. Poorly packaged, so items damage themselves during transit. Finally, the painted finish quality is so poor that it makes me concerned that these are produced by child labor.
