Bought these to replace our old ones in our windows at Christmas time. So nice to have the bright light that DOES NOT flicker but has a steady light. nice to have the little stabilizers at the base and the extra bulbs are very well padded for storing.

Nice candles, but description is not fully accurate

First, the bad news. The product description says the lights have a “5-foot-long ivory cord with on/off switch.” There are no switches on the cords. “Bright warm white light and flickering flames”—the LED bulbs are not flickering flame bulbs. The bulbs are the “warm white” but notably bright—excellent for Christmas window displays but maybe less good for romantic dinners.The AI description that summarized customer comments seems to involve products different from this one, such as mention of battery life. Perhaps the product description also is picking up details for other products.Each candle had a tag saying that the light would not go on in a fully lit room due to the photo sensor automatic switch. Three of the four went on in a well-lit room, which raised concerns about whether the sensors were working.Now the better news. The photo sensors worked fine when the candles were lined up on a long window—on at dusk, off at dawn. They were not affected by other lights in the room being turned on. This is what I want; it may be problematic if the user wants the candles to turn off when the room lights are on. Not all the candles go on and off at the same time, but the delays are minor.And the good news: The candles look good. Their metal bases come with a no-scratch felt bottom. This can be overlaid with the black plastic snap-on bases that provide a slightly larger base area and more stability. Set-up is easy. As Christmas decorations, they work nicely. And the price was good.
