Great quality and just as pictured. Love that it comes in different sizes as I have 2 hanging on the front of my house now. I have one that’s been out for a couple of years now that is a bit faded but is still holding up. Easy to hang as well. Would highly recommend.
I'm happy with the star that arrived today and is hanging on the front of my shed. It looks like it's well-constructed. It's heavy in a good way that it won't get blown around easily. The hanger loop is well-placed and easy to use. I like the braided metal ring. I like everything about it except the color. I wish it was available in black that would match the shutters on my shed. I'm tempted to spray paint it, but I don't know how well paint would adhere to the powder coating on the star.
I was very surprised at the quality and workmanship of these stars! The outer ring being solid twisted metal along with the star itself being made from a thicker rigid steel... I am impressed! The finish seems quite thick and durable I am excited to have them on my front gate! They arrived in good condition and were packed with care! 👏
I have had a Texas star on my house for 40 years but this is the best one I have had. It is heavier and sturdier. The paint job is perfect. They could improve the hanger though. It broke before we got the star Hund. We rigged it and kept it because it would have been too much trouble to exchange. It looks beautiful. I’m sure they would have given us another star so don’t be put off by the defect. It was my choice not to exchange it. Support small businesses like this.
Glad I went with this star vs some other less expensive ones out there. It appears to be well made and heavy duty enough to last. Rated 4 stars due to a couple very small blemishes, but overall very happy with the purchase.
It provides good protection for your property
I have only had this up for a couple of weeks. I actually lined the inside with an led strip and added that cord to the mount point. I did add several layers of spray on clear coat to try to keep any possible rust from happening. I don't believe it will be an issue but wanted to be safe.TO BE CLEAR: I added the lights. They are NOT part of the product!
