NOT blackout. NOT thermal.
I've bought MANY curtains made by Eclipse over the past 15 years... these are NOTHING like their other thick light blocking thermal curtains. These are okay quality NORMAL THIN polyester curtains.I put them up on a tension room divider rod and noticed that they don't have the thermal/light blocking lining that all their other curtains do - but my husband had already taken the packaging out to the trash.Leaving them up, it's clear that they didn't actually use any sort of light or heat blocking materials. They let ALL the heat and most of the light right through.WASTE of money and I will no longer be buying ANY curtains from Eclipse again. (I started buying h.versailtex curtains and while they have wrinkles that take a few weeks to smooth the rest of the way out, they are WAY LESS EXPENSIVE and they ACTUALLY block light and drafts - better even than my original eclipse ones did when I first got them.)

Effective at light blocking, note you only received one panel
These are nice curtains. They are very thick and light blocking. When I received the package, there was only one curtain in there, which I did not notice when I read the description. I liked it so much I did buy the second one so that I would have the set. They are the standard 84 inch length, however our windows are a little bit longer so they’re a little short, but I like them so much I’m going to use them anyway and hide the bottom with the couch.

It truly blocks sunlight, and it looks stylish
I ordered this Eclipse Darrell Thermaweave Blackout Curtain, to cover the sliding door in our living room. And I’m pleasantly surprised with it, because it’s a perfect fit for a large window. And it’s well-made with a nice dense fabric with a satin finish. This curtain looks very stylish, and goes with most decorations.I also like that this curtain truly blocks sunlight when we need it, like if we want to use a projector to watch movies in the middle of the day. And when we need sunlight in the room, we just slid the curtain to a side. About the thermal features, like I said, the fabric is dense, so it not just blocks light, it also kind of isolate the room from the cold, or the heat of the glass in the window.

Not Total Blackout...but Close Enough!
These curtains look and feel great; however, they are not true blackout curtains as expected.Although the item description gently touches on the sheerness of the curtains by mentioning they block "most" light, the description and product images could be slightly more transparent about the blocking power. These work for me and the light-blocking level I was looking for; however, I know some people are looking for absolute, aluminum foil-on-window light blockage and these do not provide that intensity!The product arrived as expected and with very few wrinkles. The rings did leave an indention on the fabric, but came out easily with a quick dryer fluff.Despite the blackout discrepancy, this product is a great value for the price as even non-blackout curtains of this size are often double or triple the cost. I will be purchasing more for other areas in my home.
