We opted to use this rug outdoors on our wooden deck and it looks fantastic! The quality is wonderful. The back side of the rug has a nonslip rubber-like material making it perfect for an entry way or a kitchen. In the kitchen, being as thick and durable as it is, will definitely provide cushioning under your feet.It’s very well made with a good weight and lays flat right out of the package. There are instructions included to quickly remove any creasing that might be present but we didn’t experience this. The harlequin diamond pattern is gorgeous, very retro, on trend and timeless.The fabric is smooth and thick, tightly woven and of great quality- it is not rough like a traditional “jute” carpet would be.The price is right for the quality of this rug, making it a good value and investment.I’ve washed it several times now and it looks just as new as it did when received and dried quickly too!
