Measurements true to size, and good quality

Measurements are true. I ordered the XXL size, and it fits perfectly for the half of the old sectional we are using in our den. The instructions weren’t clear on how to use the non-slip foam rods, but basically, you tuck it in the seams once you have it on the way you want it, between the back and end cushions. It works pretty well - but the instructions weren’t clear; there are no loops, or sleeves that they fit into - which makes sense for how they are designed. If you’re confused when you get this, this is what you do. It really makes the ratty old sofa look presentable, while protecting it from spills, and pet hair / nails. My dogs love it so much I barely got it on and they were climbing up on it. There is no chemical smell when you open it, so it could be used right away, if you wanted. It was sealed well in a vacuum sealed bag, and still a bit stiff from being new material so we put it on to see how it works before washing it. We will be ordering more of these. For the price, they are well worth it.

Nice and Soft!

I have a 84" wide cloth couch that my cats pee on top of the backrests (it's very annoying...). I had put some towels down before but they just push them in the crack between the couch and the wall, so it wasn't working.This couch cover works pretty well! It washed easy on cold setting (it says wash cold but I might wash regular if it gets soiled and see what happens...). It was pretty easy to put on and covered well. I'm surprised how soft it is! It's like a quilted blanket.One note: They're reversible but fit better the way they're intended.Water does run off, but if the surface tension breaks it sinks in, so I wouldn't really consider it waterproof (at least not as much as plastic or vinyl). I'm hoping it'll at least keep the pee from sinking in to the couch itself, and then I can just wash this instead of having to try to clean the couch with an enzyme cleaner. I think it'll be thick enough for that.I went for the dark blue/light blue and it looks nice! Maybe I should have gotten one of the browns to match the couch but it's really hard to tell browns apart on the computer and blue's my favorite color so it's alright.My cat loves it!

Thin and will not stay on

2.5 starsIt looks pretty good, but man, it does not stay on and is way thinner than I expected. Not sure what others are doing to keep it on. I have one German and one Australian shepherd and this cover cannot keep up. My wife fixes it daily and within seconds, it's sliding off. We use the foam tubes pushed into the seams and the elastic bands but it does nothing. I got this because I purchased the couch arm covers and they are thick and have a grippy back. The XXL couch cover has neither of these things. It's thin and has no grip. I cannot recommend.
