Charming and Timeless Spring Decorations
I love decorating for the seasons so, when I saw these charming, distressed-finish, white bunny figurines, I knew that they would work well in several places in our home to welcome spring. They came very well packaged in individual plastic bags, nestled into a molded Styrofoam block which was inside of a cardboard box. I kept the packing for storing them after spring.The figurines are a great size for using on a tabletop or mantel at 6 inches for the standing bunny and 5 inches for the sitting bunny. They have a satin finish that resembles painted wood that has been well loved over the years. There is a rusty wash over some areas to enhance the details and impart a vintage vibe.I love that these bunnies are so neutral in color and appearance; their simplicity works with just about any décor from traditional to farmhouse. We live in an older home with heavy, white-painted woodwork and these figurines echo the trim color; they look nice in every room, even the bathrooms and kitchen. I ended up using the rabbits in front of an arrangement in our upstairs hall featuring a rather formal vase that I inherited from my mother-in-law.
