Stunning braided rug

This rug is absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny. The branding is perfect zero imperfections. It is slightly curled up on the sides due to shipping, but once it has been unrolled and gently pulled, the curls slowly disappear. The colors are so beautiful and bright. I got the brick red color, and I absolutely love it! The rug is very well made and isn't stiff like most items made with wool can tend to be; this helps straighten it because the stitching and wool braids are very forgiving. It's also softer than anticipated with quite a bit of cushion. At the 2x3 size, it fits perfectly in my quarter bathroom in front of the shower. I have had a very hard time finding a rug that would fully cover the floor since there is carpet in the bathroom, so the flooring is protected. The carpet is absorbent, and the rug has made a big difference in showers. We can hang it on the shower to dry if it does get too wet. I would recommend putting a non-slip pad under the rug if you do use it on a hard floor versus carpet. I honestly think since the rug is wool, it sticks to the carpet and doesn't move at all, but I am still going to put the non-slip pad under it just to be safe.Overall, the fact that it doesn't have any non-slip backing and the fact that the rug will need to be drycleaned are the only negatives I have with this rug. The manufacturer does include a card with their website information for caring for your rug and I found it very helpful I have included a picture of the card this would be very helpful if you are on the fence with the purchase because it gives you insight on the care and also how to maintain the rug should a stitch break or if you have any snags in the braids. It also does smell like wool and when it got wet I am able to smell it more but I'm sure after time, that will dissipate and I honestly don't mind the smell but some might not care for this.We are extremely happy with it and planning on getting a larger one for our new home's family room because it is worth every penny, and if you enjoy beautiful, rustic-looking quality items, you will not be disappointed with these rugs!
