Perfect!

I said “perfect” within five minutes of putting these curtains up, replace the Marigold curtains that clashed with the Taupe wall color. They look more Baby Blue and Sea Green than Stone Blue at times, which is what I wanted. I included pictures here with a Light Stone Blue blanket and a Baby Blue throw pillow and in different lighting so you can see what the color looks like. I picked these because 1) I like the grommet style way better than what I had and 2) the TIES sold me. I want my cat to be able to look out the window and to be able to hold the curtain back without having to prop unattractively tucked behind something. They did arrive wrinkly and at first I wondered why they look darker blue at the top and lighter more baby blue in the middle, and I’ve been checking them out to see if they look used, but it doesn’t matter anyway, because I like that.

Since velvet can't be ironed without risk of ruining the material, thank goodness I've got a large steamer which mostly took care of it. Even that didn't get all the wrinkles out, but enough to look acceptable. I'm happy with the purchase.
