As a chronic perfectionist I agonize over design and budget, wrestling with options until I maximize and harmonize both. No detail is too small! But this set of curtains really impressed me and performs very well. Not only does it genuinely block out the light it has a beautiful soft texture and comes with built-in tie backs. Not sure about the durability/longevity but the feel and look of the material leads me to believe that it will perform great but I also have UV filtering decorative window clings installed that should help with that, too. It feels and looks like quality. The pics were color accurate, which I would compare to Pantone's Chanterelle. Was delighted to find this budget friendly option that matched the rug I picked so well. Together these completely make the room, giving that soothing but still luxury feel even in a room that's typically given to purely practical design solutions. My one complaint is one of my curtains has a small spot where the blackout coating broke/wasn't applied correctly from the beginning. The missus really needs a darkening curtain like the one we bought. An east-facing window drives this nee, and the hoops in the curtains are attractive and easy to pull open or closed. The color my wife shoe, Ocean, is very attractive. These are NOT black cloth lined drapes. They are available, but with a medium color like Ocean, it lets the sunlight gently illuminate the room diffusely. No "bright spot", and she can doze undisturbed during the early hours when the sun can be quite distracting.
