Beautiful silk flowers with flexible stem have many uses, but leaves don't attach well!

I have been seeking faux silk flowers to make arrangements to bring my rooms together aesthetically . I got the dusty blue color of this artificial combo set of silk flowers. The lovely presentation in the box would make them a very attractive gift for the right person. However, don't take the flowers out of the box if you want to gift them, because in my opinion, it would be impossible to get them back in the box as neatly and well-arranged as they are before handled.These include three varieties of flowers -- dahlias, roses and chrysanthemums. and separate leaves. The roses are in three shades which lends nicely for more eye-catching arrangements. It is required to put the stems on the leaves and some of the flowers. The leaves go on their own stem and aren't attached to the flowers. Some of these flowers feel velvety and soft, some are shiny. Each type is a little different in their texture.Due to the very flexible type of stems, these are made to work well for various types of uses. They would be great for making wedding bouquets, flower arrangements in vases at home, party center pieces, corsages, and boutonnières. I can see using in crafts like making brooches and hair pieces. Because the stems are so pliable, and can wrap around something, or easily be cut to size; I am environing wrapping them around the handle of a gift basket, decorating my hat, or putting one in my hair bun or ponytail. These are so nice, that if one were to use them for center pieces for a reception, I would definitely take one home and use the flowers forever more!I put them in a vase, and they looked lovely just like that. They look like they are well made. I enjoy the beautiful variety. I also really like the dusty blue color, and it goes well in combination with so many other colors, and creates a peaceful mood, and a nice accent color.Sadly, I am doing four stars instead of five, because the leaves do not fit on the stem and easily fall right off. I will need to glue them on. Otherwise, these are really nice.

I got this set of flowers in dusty blue. I chose this color because I wanted the flowers to go with my Peter Rabbit theme for Easter. This blue is different than Peter's coat, but I wanted a complimentary blue. The shade of blue I saw on my screen is the same shade in person. Beautiful.The roses all have a very thin wire attached. The other flowers do not have the wire attached, but the wire sticks are included and it is very simple to add them to the little hole underneath the flower. Please be aware these are not stemmed flowers. It is a stiff wire that is easy to bend.I plan to use these flowers as accents wherever a little blue color is needed. I can add them to a bouquet, or use to attach to a napkin ring, or wire them on the hanging light/chandelier.If you don't put the wire stick on, they would look nice on top of a votive (no live candle) and place them at each place setting or in between place settings. Or, put an LED tealight in the votive and then a flower on top.No votive holder? No problem. Take a circular candle ring and put it on its side. Put the flower on the hole that is now face up. Voila!These flowers would also look nice attached to the handle of a gift bag or on a gift. For instance, if you used an organza ribbon to wrap the gift, wrap the wired flower around the middle where your ribbon crossed on the front of the package and have a flower or flowers be your bow.I am very pleased with these flowers. The dusty blue is too simple a description. They are a steel blue. A moody English meadow blue. The mist of an early morning as Mr. Darcy walks to meet his Miss Bennet.I can picture using these in an upscale patriotic display. Instead of using navy blue, use this stunning steel blue as the blue in your red, white, and blue. Or use it as an accent with the traditional rwb.Also note the feel of the flowers. They are not silk and not real feel. They are not paper but have a paper/foam feel though they are neither. Whatever it is, it produces a very precise petal and I like it.These would be nice to have on hand for a party, bridal shower, baby shower, wedding. They really will be useful as you scan your tablesetting or vignette and realize you need a flower or a pop of color somewhere. This set is your final touches accessory.

Beautiful artifical flowers, fair price compared to specialty stores

We really like this artificial rose set, they perfectly match a gift vase we have wanted to display for years. The flowers are all nice, and I think the photo's really do a good job of showing off exactly how good these do and do not look. The roses and round flowers (aside from the colors) look real enough on a quick glance that you wouldn't know they are fake, the more leafy flower clearly looks artificial on first glance, but that is REALLY common for that style. The material on that particular one just looks more like fabric than the others, it's still nice looking, it's just less convincing than the rest of the package.The fit and finish of all the flowers was flawless, with no obvious defects. The colors are all nice and uniform. The stems and leaves are all nice too. The price here is pretty fair, as a similar set was $5 more AFTER coupons from the local hobby store. I really like how the roses look, but they are a slightly fragile feeling foam material. None of mine broke, but it just feels less sturdy than the normal plastic and silks of other artificial flowers. That said, I would not trade these for any others, as they fit with our vase perfectly and I love how they all look together!
