So, I’m unsure if I’m gonna end up regretting this or not, but I used this tape to attach an area rug to my carpet. It was right by a door and was driving me crazy with hooking onto the bottom of the door. The area rug doesn’t move at all. It’s solidly where I taped it to be. My thought is that if it’s sticking that well to carpet then it’ll stick to any type of hard floor with ease. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a rug to stay put

Described on the product page as Carpet Tape, but not to be confused with the heat activated tape that pros use to install and carpet with seams. I plan to try using it to attach carpet pieces to a metal circular staircase, but I've set my expectations low; it does work for securing the edges of rugs on hard floors to help prevent tripping. I haven't tried mounting objects on the wall with it, yet.
This SJZQ double-sided carpet tape impressed me with its heavy-duty hold that instantly secures rugs and mats in place without slipping. The 15lb instant hold worked well on all types of floors I tried—hardwood, tile, and even concrete—keeping carpets firmly anchored and preventing annoying bunching or sliding. I appreciated that it left no residue when removed, so my floors stayed clean and undamaged after use. SUPER sticky double sided carpet tape, and do I ever mean super sticky!!! Try your best not to let it touch anything you don't want it to adhere to when you're applying it, as once it gets on something, you're probably not going to get it off. This is exactly what I want in carpet tape, as I have 4 giant dogs, and they can move taped down carpet on hardwood very easily, but not with this stuff! This really does the job, and I find it to be perfect for carpet tape down, as well as for taping things to the wall, etc. This roll is 66 feet long, so you get a generous amount, and the 2 inch width is perfect for most home DIY jobs. This is one of those tools that you just have to have available in your toolbox, as it has so many different uses. For the money, it's a good value, and it's smart to keep a roll handy for those unexpected jobs that require double sided tape. Recommended
Didn’t stick.
I ordered this double sided carpet tape to use to help decorate for a Halloween haunted house. I needed something that would stick to carpet and to brick and this stuff really works. It held my faux lawn down to our library carpet and stuck black pladtic roofing material to brick colums too. The only downside was it made my scissors extremely sticky afterward and I had to clean them with hand sanitizer to get the stickiness off, but it did come off. The roll comes 2 inches wide with 22 yards on a roll. It is easy to use, just cut to your desired size, and peel off the white covering so the mesh shows and stick into place.
Carpet tape? Nah this will not stay down. However its not a complete waste I've used it for small project around the house, so if your looking for some quick adhesive this is great. Also the other issue is its hard as hell to take the no sticky tape part off once you cut it so be very careful or you'll just keep wasting tape
