Updated review, I really like these double rods.
Updated to a 5 star review on my own- You can read my initial 4-star review below. I have since bought 4 additional sets of these and for smaller windows with one center brace required they are sturdy and wonderful. They look sleek and the finish holds up well through assembly and handling. I do think on my biggest window, which required two braces, would be sufficienly strong, if hung as intended, but I want to be able to completely pull the curtains to the side when wanted, so I only used one center brace. - Original review below-I'm a little torn on these. It is so hard to find a curtain rod that can span a window as big as ours. This is worlds better than what we had rigged up before this, which was two separate rods just touching in the middle but not connected. This was delivered in a box not much bigger than a shoebox, which was a little concerning but it went together relatively easily. I, luckily, have lightweight sheers and light weight thermal curtains that are not floor length because it was a little more bendy than I would have liked after putting the curtains on it and hanging it, which was definitely a two person job. They sent an extra center bracket but the thing is, where those brackets are, you cannot close the curtains over the brackets, so that would leave an uncovered gap in the center of the window with no curtains at all, and we obviously don't want that. So we are possibly a little overextended on one center bracket. I will say, I like the finish on the metal and it held up well during assembly. There was plenty of hardware and drywall anchors included. I've never had a double rod before but I hope it helps a little in the winter with extra window insulation. So I like it alright. We will see how it holds up. Other than the subtle visible waviness lengthwise, it really looks nice. The instructions were clear. My best tip is to follow the instructions on placing the side brackets a full 2 inches away from the window frame to get good wrap-around coverage when you want the window completely closed and for when you want to pull the drapes all the way back so they are clear completely of the window. Heavier curtains may even require 2 1/2 inches distance.

Installed it by myself! Pretty simple to do. They are sturdy and I love the wrap-around feature. It blocks out so much extra light that most other curtain rods miss. I also love having the 2-rod system, so I have have blackout curtains and something lighter and prettier to add dimension. Super functional for those of us who sleep during the day!

I liked that these allow you to block out more light then regular curtain rods. The curve allows the curtain to clear around to the wall. I hund heavy room darkening curtains to help block the summer sun in my west window. We can make the room darker as needed. Good purchase. Little tough do hand alone with the size we needed but good and seem sturdy enough to last

Design issue with the middle bracket
I ordered and installed three long double rod systems from this seller . While the rods look pretty and are made of better metal than others, this system has a design issue with the middle bracket. Unfortunately, this issue appears after a couple of months, after the installation , when it is too late to return the product. The middle bracket is designed incorrectly with insufficient resistance. After about 6 weeks of use the upper part of it starts coming off the wall resulting in significant wall damage, despite proper installation. I have two double rod systems from two different manufacturers and those do not have this issue.
