This curtain rod looks modern and works well for layered curtains. The metal feels sturdy and the gold finish looks elegant. The rods slide smoothly, and the brackets feel secure once installed. I like that it can hold both sheer and heavier curtains without sagging. This curtain rod adds a polished look to windows.
very bad quality. The rod bent in half when putting up the curtains. It is way too expensive for the quality. Dont waste time or money on this. I am now having to take it down and drilling in new holes on the wall for a new rod. Not happy.
While the description is accurate, it is my opinion that the rod would not be able to hold up our inside rod. I returned it. I am sure that it could have held up the blackout curtain, but I’m pretty sure that it would not have held up the decorative curtain. I did not want to go through the process of installing it and finding out that it didn’t.Further, he had to put together all of the pieces, including stringing all of the hooks that hold the curtains up.
Swapped out my old clunky curtain setup for this double track rod, and wow what a difference! The 86 inch length fit perfectly across my guest bedroom window and the heavy duty aluminum feels rock solid. Currently holding only 1 layer but I will be adding that 2nd layer this weekend and I know it will handle it. So far it is heavy duty and I don't see any sag. Those 24 silent gliders are just want I needed! No more screeching metal on metal when opening and closing. Installation was a snap and the ceiling mount brackets aligned easily. Took right around 30 minutes with just a drill. A steal compared to pricier brands. If you're tired of flimsy rods that bend or rattle like I was then you need to grab one of these.
