Beautiful Curtain Rods

Im in love with this double curtain rod. This is the perfect West Elm dupe for a quarter of the price, and I like this even better, because the design of the mounting brackets gives it a traditional and feminine touch. Also it makes the brackets closer to the wall (4 inches instead of 6 inches). The rods and brackets are well made and sturdy. The oil rubbed bronze finish is perfect and very hard to find in this kind of design.Installation: The instructions included are not that clear, but it didn’t take me more than 5 minutes to figure out the 2-rod vs. 3-rod installation for the length I needed. You’ll need a extension for your screw driver or drill to drive the screws in because the holes are kind of hiding behind the “wind ear” design. It’s an easy fix with an extension and I feel like that’s the case with all the rods I installed, to make the screws less visible after installation. Overall a pretty easy installation.

Good rod, requires an odd size drill bit

I’ve purchases this curtain rod for three different rooms in my home. It’s solid, not too difficult to install, and looks pretty good. The only note is that the drill bit you’ll need is not a standard size (at least not in the U.S.). The first two times I used a bit that was close and getting the anchors in the wall was not easy. The last time I finally went and bought a drill bit to match and installation was much simpler.

Beautiful and Sturdy

These curtain rods are beautiful, a little dramatic(heads on it are large and bold), and sturdy. I hung two panels of velvet drapes from these and they weren't even a little phased. Seems like they'll hold up to my little ones occasionally pulling on them. The curved form of the holders was a little consternating to work with during install but I think if you use a long Phillips head bit when putting them up that it shouldn't interfere or rub as much. I think it was worth the momentary frustration especially since the curves of the curtain rod holder are what initially drew me to these. I installed these 7 inches out, to the left and right, from each corner and about 1.75 inches from the ceiling so that it draws your eyes up. I would definitely buy again.
