Sturdy Rod with Nice Finials!

Our home has a wall of windows that overlook our backyard and beyond. Depending on the time of year, the bright sun causes too much glare (on our TV screen!). We have "light filtering" blinds, but they weren't doing enough to cut the glare. It was time to add some curtains to block the sunlight as needed. The windows are over 10 feet wide, and I was concerned about finding a sturdy curtain rod for this expanse.I saw this Hosmile One Inch Double Curtain Rod that could expand to 12 feet and decided to order it. The rods can accommodate up to 40 pounds! Full disclosure: I used one rod (instead of two) and bought new hardware for use with the one rod. This is in no way an issue with the double rods or their unique brackets--I simply changed my mind about using additional sheers.The rods are made from a strong iron, fit seamlessly together to form a longer rod, and are saturated in their colorway--I chose Dark Bronze. The faux marble finials look "real" and give an expensive finish to the curtain rods. Check out my photos to see for yourself. The curtain grommets glide easily over the rod's smooth finish for quick opening and closing as needed.I am very pleased with these Hosmile curtain rods and know I will be able to use the "leftover" one somewhere in my home.

Stylish, and Sturdy

I was looking for a nice double Curtain Rod for a large double door that isn't used often, but can move curtains aside if needing to use the double door and open it. The current setup we have is a singular rod, that is just not well supported and sags quite a bit not making a very good appearance. I came across this curtain rod which was a double so we can put a light curtain and a blackout curtain on it as well. I must say this was perfect for our needs. No longer do we need to worry about pulling down the older curtain rod we were using because of how weak it was, This one is solid. Easy to mount. Looks really nice too!Price is pretty fair for what you get, and a few styles to choose from. If looking for a double curtain rod, you can't go wrong with this at all. Really happy I got this.

Sturdy And Good Looking

I ordered these curtain rods to replace my old cheap plastic set, and they are a huge improvement. They are very sturdy and well built. My set came in well packaged and without any damage or blemishes. It comes with all the hardware you need to either install it into wood or drywall. Installation is pretty straightforward, but for the life of me, I can't understand why curtain rod manufacturers love to hide the top screw hole behind the mounting hardware. They all seem to do it. Give us some room to get a drill in there! That's my only gripe, and it's been an issue with every set I’ve ever installed. OK, rant over. They look great, and what I really like is that they are double rodded. I’m assuming that you're supposed to put sheer curtains on the inside and a more decorative curtain on the outside, but I’m going double blackout because the window I installed them on is directly across from my tv. The marble ends are the standout besides the double rod set up, and they look great. Overall, I’m impressed with this set and think they are worth the price.

Nice looking set of rods double rods for both curtains and shears look sturdy looks great

So far what I see I really like. I haven't put it up yet because I'm not ready to remove the old curtains until I pick out new ones to go on these rods. Replacing old hook curtains on which are just fallen apart. Want to do the either in the rod pocket or ones with the loops or grommets. Love the fact that this is a double so I can put the shears in the back and pick some nifty shears and then the thicker blackout curtains on the front. Super long window almost10 ft So this is a great set of rods for that. Color is also on the little bulb is great I really like them it's going to add a nice modern cool look to the room oven mid-century house. We'll update if I find anything bad or worse or even better about these once I get the curtains up
