Sharing some 'warm tips' to help assembly go more smoothly

While I do like the final product so far - it feels sturdy and I like the look of the decorative cage ends - putting everything together was a headache!When I checked parts against the instructions, the smaller width lists 12 rod segments and the large width lists 20 rod segments. When I counted, I had 15 individually wrapped segments? The biggest difference is the number of B segments - mine had 5 for each rod instead of 3 or 7, but while I had a piece 'D' for the smaller rod, I only had A-C for the larger rod. I was getting ready to submit a replacement request when I started opening the individually wrapped rod segments and surprise! D was sealed in its own plastic bag INSIDE of rod C, which was then packaged in a second sealed plastic bag. The weird part is - if they were going to package it that way, why wouldn't the small rod also be packaged that way?Once I found part D, assembly went much faster. I did have difficulty getting segment A to screw in to a segment B - the threads would not catch and turn - but my sliding door only needs 3 of the 5 B segments. I swapped out one of the others and was able to finish assembly after that.In summary - seem like decent, sturdy curtain rods and worth the investment as long as you can get through the assembly. If you find you need a laugh during this difficult time, the INSTLLATION STEPS apparently felt a 'hot tip' would be too much and instead give a 'warm tip'

Good quality double curtain rod - easy to adjust the length - heavy duty - decorative

I'm impressed with how sturdy this curtain rod is - the finials are made from thick, heavy plastic-like material, but they look like metal. The rod comes in short pieces (about 18" or so) that are fitted together (rather than a 48" rod that slides out) - which I prefer because I can get the length I want before hanging the rod. The brackets are very sturdy and hardware for hanging the brackets is included. Excellent quality and nice looking curtain rod - I highly recommend, and will purchase a second rod when I replace the curtains in my dining area.

Lovely, sturdy touch of gold...

We recently moved to a new home and have been shopping for curtains and rods for our windows. I've tried more curtains and more rods than I can possibly keep track of, so I've found a few things that matter to me when settling on a curtain rod. This particular rod set hits most of those criteria. First, it's really lovely--I ordered the gold one. It doesn't look gaudy at all, but adds a warm and elevated touch to the room. Next, it is quite sturdy. We typically use heavy, light blocking curtains, and this set easily holds up a decent amount of weight. It also adjusts easily and to a pretty decent extent. Installing was easy, although getting the parts assembled was a bit confusing and took a few minutes. Overall, I'm very pleased with this!
