Smooth gliding and stable curtain tracks

I purchased these curtain tracks to create a partition between an open living room area and the upstairs bedroom corridor. The double-track design is excellent, as it allows me to layer a sheer and an opaque curtain depending on how much privacy I want at any given time.Before settling on these, I considered some of the cheaper flexible track options. However, my ceiling has a slight dip, and I was concerned that flexible tracks wouldn’t install straight or level. These aluminum tracks completely eliminate that issue and feel sturdy once installed.I also appreciate that the hardware includes mounting options for different wall materials. I personally drilled my own holes so I could mount directly into the ceiling beams, as I don’t trust drywall alone. This was easy to do with a regular drill bit—just place the track on a piece of wood and take your time drilling slowly.Overall, the finished result looks great. I’m still shopping for the opaque curtain panel, but so far the curtains glide smoothly with no friction at all. I’m very happy with this solution.

Solid double track with silent gliding

I used this 12ft double track to hang both sheers and heavy blackout curtains in my bedroom, and it feels much more substantial than the flexible plastic versions I’ve tried before. The aluminum is rigid and straight, which I found helpful for getting a level install on a ceiling that wasn't perfectly flat. The rollers glide with almost no noise, and even with the weight of two sets of curtains, there is no catching or sticking at the joints.
