My literal only complaint about this piece is that it only comes in one skin tone and that skin tone is crazy Caucasian because it is so pale. However it is the perfect little collectible knick knack for the dog lover in your life. I'm the dog lover in my life and I love these little wooden booking collectibles that remind me of the kind you get from Hallmark stores. These however are not wood they're also not plastic because they are solid and heavy-they do have the look and feel of wood but you can tell that they're from some sort of a mold vs carved.

Sweet, lovely sculpture
I ordered this to add to my living room bookcase. I’ve had fur-babies for decades, and while my current dog looks very similar to the dog in the sculpture, I got the sculpture to reminder me of the love I have had for ALL my sweet dogs over the years. The sculpture looks even nicer in person than it does in the listing pictures, in my opinion. It wasn’t sloppily produced. The piece is smooth, with perfect colors. It is very giftable, especially for giving to someone who may be grieving the loss of a dog. It’s a treasured addition to my home decor.

Nice little dog and "mom" statue w/small flaw
This is a cute little statue/figurine with a decent weight to it. The pose of the girl is really nice and also unique because even though it is a faceless statue, it is still easy to tell that she is craning her head around to look her dog in the eyes. The dog also has a happy expression and seems as though he is smiling. I also liked how her hair is pulled over her shoulder and is correct in the way it is twisted in the way it lies. I knocked off 1 star only because the paint job isn't really neat, with quite a bit of white paint where the color paint was missed and bumpy little globs of paint . The other reason is because there is a gouge out of her higher elbows; it is pretty deep, triangular shaped and has a crack radiating up on the top of the gouge. I'll probably just fill that in with white paint and touch up all the missed paint since I'm always painting anyway! All and all, I do like the statue, it is really sweet and for the cost, it will be a nice addition to my collection.
