As Always, Der Rose Makes Great Artificial Plants!

I have many artificial plants for decorative use all over my apartment. I've purchased several over the last year or so from Der Rose, and I'm always quite happy with what I receive. I have lots of Monstera plants, but no Palms. So, I really thought it was about time to get one!!!As with all Der Rose artificial plants, it comes neatly packed, ready to be assembled. In fact, they always include instructions on how to assemble the plant. What's nice about Der Rose, is that they always, in my experience, include a stylish pot, with either artificial rocks or moss. In this case, it's white rocks. This really adds a nice touch, as you may not need to get a separate pot for the plant.Assembling the plant is quite easy. You do have to straigten the stems. But, you can make them however you like. Upwards, sideways, etc. Just be careful not to get your eyes too close to the ends of the stems to avoid physical contact. The leaves have a hole at the end of its short stem that goes over the plastic and metal ends of the longer plant stems.It takes about 15 minutes from start to finish. You do have to try different arrangements of the the stems until you are happy with it. But, you can always change it if you like, as the stems are flexible.From a bit of a distance, the plant looks quite real. The palm leaves come in two shades of green, which is nice, as it adds variety.I found a nice spot for it, on a side table next to the TV. I replaced a smaller plant that I placed somewhere else.Overall, I really like the look of this plant. Der Rose makes good quality artificial plants, and I know I'll be buying more in the future from this brand.

This plant is actually really pretty for an artificial tree. I feel like it’s a decent size and looks nice. I decided to bring it into my office. It gives a nice pop-up color and vibe as for assembly. It was easy enough. I did accidentally draw some blood, but I think that was user error or not the tree’s fault lol it comes with some fake moss that you can choose to put in the pot or you can leave it with the fake rocks, which is what I did. Overall, I feel like it’s definitely worth the price if you’re looking for something artificial, but still pretty this is it

Realistic Faux Palm Tree!

This faux Palm tree is very pretty. It comes in two pieces. The base pot and branches are together and the palm leaves are separate. You have to manually attach each leaf individually to the branches after straightening them out. The branches are made from sturdy wire and coated with green plastic. They are bent over to fit in the box but straighten out easily. Adding the individual leaves took the most time but no more than 5 minutes for me. Once added, you can bend the wires to a shape you prefer. The leaves do range in color from deep green to lighter green to represent new growth. Instructions are also included with easy to follow diagrams.The Palm tree when completed is very lifelike and looks very pretty! It gives any porch or room a tropical feel! I am so happy with it! It is just the right size too! Not too big and bulky and small enough to look real! It works in any room!’

Easy to assemble but top heavy and looks artificial

The tree was easy to put together, and the leaves are actually quite nice. However, for the size of the plant, the pot felt too small, making the tree extremely top heavy.I originally assumed that because the stems have notches, I would be able to shorten one or two stems and reattach the leaves, but that wasn’t the case. The notched stems are visible and make the tree look more artificial than expected. Overall, I think the leaves are the best part — unfortunately, the stems are what take away from the overall appearance.

Good but missing a couple of things

I bought this artificial palm tree for our son's room, and it's okay. It went together just fine—the assembly was straightforward with no tools needed, and the fronds attach easily without any complicated instructions.The tree looks pretty good once it's set up. The overall design is attractive, and I like the design of the pot. It has a clean, modern aesthetic that works well with our decor.Now for the issues: they only give you 3-4 lighter color fronds, and the rest are all dark. I would have liked more variety in the frond colors to give it more realism. Real palm trees have variation in their leaf tones, and having mostly dark fronds makes this look less natural than it could. A better mix of light and dark would have made a big difference.The bigger problem is that the base is kind of narrow and light for how tall and tippy the plant is. It's not dangerously unstable, but it feels top-heavy, and I worry about it tipping over if someone bumps into it or if we have a strong breeze on the porch. I wish the base were heavier or wider to provide more stability for the height.Overall, it's a nice artificial tree that serves its purpose, but the stability concerns and lack of color variety keep it from being great.Recommended
