Not Your Everyday Silk Stems

What I Like:1. Larkspur gives me fond memories of the first Nancy Drew book I ever read - Password to Larkspur Lane.2. These stems are TALL. Roughly 35 inches for the larkspur and 32 inches for the eucalyptus. They make a stunning display. Have a tall, dramatic vase? Buy these!3. The silk blooms are lovely, with 3-color printing on most of the blooms (I bought the dark pink, YMMV)4. Each stem is very full. Likewise, the eucalyptus. It's possible these stems are all you'll need to make a gorgeous display.5. They arrive bent double and in a cardboard box. The stems are easily straightened and there were no loose flowers or foliage in my box. They're very sturdy for silk stems.6. The color selection is good, five to choose from., or buy a few to mix together.7. Price at time of review is $21.59 for 6 stems - 4 larkspur and two eucalyptus. That's roughly $3.60 per stem. Even if you want to assign a lower price to the eucalyptus, say, $2 per stem, I think $4.42 per stem us still a very good value.8. If you need shorter stems, these can be cut, of course. (The stems are rather stiff, but could be bent if you're loathe to cut them.) Also, each larkspur stem has 3 branches, the longest would be about 18 inches of flowers, and two smaller stems measure about 8 inches long, just the flower part. (The ruler in my image is 18 inches long.)What I Dislike:0. I truly have no complaints about these silk flowers. They're not your everyday silk stems and they're gorgeous.

A little on the pricy side, but the flowers are very nicely made and assembled. You get plenty of length in both the floral part as well as the stems, and they're nicely adjustable. I like that the greenery pieces look more realistic (the nubbly bits seem to be made of some kind of soft plastic/vinyl that looks a lot more legit than if they were made of fabric).In addition to getting them out of the packaging and "airing" them out a little so they wouldn't look squished, I ended up gently steaming the white flower petals and fabric leaves with a garment steamer; it did wonders for it! Now that I know how much of a difference it makes, I'll never not steam any fake flowers I have, as it helped the fabric relax slightly into a softer, more natural shape while also sounding less crinkly/papery when moved or touched.These looked lovely on our backdrop (see sides), and I'm looking forward to reusing / repurposing them in our home! (Other flowers / stuff not included haha).
