Premium Decorative Books that are Impressive!
The three decorative books are a great way to add a decorative touch to any table, TV stand or night stand. They are made well, and the cover is made of thick cover material with a laminated glossy film finish. The cover of each book has vivid colors that are rich and pleasing to the eye. The images are impressive in books. The only difference is that the pages in the book are blank. Each book has a total of 384 pages that are blank on both sides. This gives you plenty of room to use it in various ways. They are a versatile pack of three that can be used either for decorative purposes or for keeping memories for each country. (Mexico, Canada, Bahamas)The pages inside the book are quality paper. The paper feels more like a sketching paper rather than just regular thin white paper. You can use each book for journaling, sketching or scrapbooking. It has a premium feel to it and, since each page is blank on both sides, it gives you more writing space if needed. The type of writing instrument that should be used in each book should probably be only a pen or pencil for sketching. These books are not made to withstand water-based watercolors or any other form of water-based materials. It does indicate that pages can warp and damage the book.I did try several writing instruments and found that pens, pencils, colored pencils and regular light markers. The permanent sharpie markers bled through as well as the pencil thin sharpies. I would not recommend thick permanent markers or any other type of marker unless you test it out yourself. Its best to keep with just pen, pencil, or colored pencils. The paper feels more like book paper so when you do write on it if you have a heavy hand it will probably make the impression of what you wrote on the previous page but not noticeable enough to tell.Because of the quality and the premium appearance of the books, I find that this set of books is a very affordable option. I was impressed by how well the books were made and the premium quality of the material. You will not be disappointed when ordering this set. I love how they look on the table and will look forward to documenting and sketching in each one. Great option as a gift to someone that has traveled in each country or separate them for separate gifts, either way they are really nice.

I have been using this set purely as decor, not as everyday notebooks, but you could. I suspect it wouldn't be nice and fllat if you did. The covers look substantial, with glossy finishes and strong colors that hold up well on a table or shelf. They do not feel hollow or fake. Each book has real weight and sturdy binding, which surprised me in a good way.Inside, all pages are blank on both sides. The paper feels closer to sketch paper than cheap filler paper. Pens, pencils, and colored pencils should work fine. Light markers should be mostly fine too, but permanent markers will probably bleed through. I would not treat these like art pads. For writing, sketching, memory keeping, or casual drawing, they do the job.I like that they can just sit there looking nice, or actually be used without feeling precious. They fit easily into different rooms and styles, and the travel themes are noticeable without being loud.They are not perfect, one cover had a dent, but for the cost, the build quality and versatility are better than expected. I would buy them again if they had more variety.

Better than anticipated...
These are actually really cool. You can set them up anywhere and "spruce" up the area. So far I have had them on my fireplace mantel as well as my coffee table; They are the pefect size for both. Each of the three books are fairly heavy and sturdy and will stay put just about anywhere. Not a bad value to add a little visual literacy to your place.

Beautiful books for a wide range of possibilities!
These books are absolutely gorgeous. The covers have beautiful pictures and countries on the front covers, and the binding has the countries. Inside, the paper that make the pages are blank for drawing, journaling, or just leaving as-is for aesthetics on a shelf or coffee table. The books, overall, are well-made, the covers are sturdy and the pages are bound well in each book. They are a great quality and an excellent value for the money. They would make great decor for a guest house/airbnb setting, if a host wants to allow for them to be utilized by guests to leave little notes or doodles. They would also make great books for logging memories - I like to use these for end-of-year books for my students to write or draw things in there for me to look back upon for years to come. There's a wide range of usability for whatever you can think of, even using for putting photos in like scrapbooks. Highly, highly recommend!
