I recently ordered this set of heavy-duty bookends, and I'm really impressed! Made from high-density resin, they look like stone even up close! At a little over 3 pounds, they are perfectly weighted to provide excellent stability for my larger books, and even without books, they are a very beautiful feature on any shelf.I love the minimalist design; it adds a refined touch to my shelves and reading nook. It also comes with 4 non-slip silicone pads, but my only issue there is I think it should be 8 total, as each bookend would need 4. Not a dealbreaker by any means.Delivery was fast, and packing was very elegant - perfect for gifting to a book lover or someone who appreciates minimalistic art/stylish decor. Overall, I highly recommend these bookends for their practicality and elegance not to mention great value for money.

Decent quality, not too heavy but color a little off

I appreciate that these are said to be beige, and they are, but the photos make them look quite a bit lighter and less yellow. I found the yellowy-beige to be a tad drab, but would love to see these in other colors. They are resin, not stone, so they aren't very heavy and are more decorative than functional unless you're only holding up a few books in which case it may be sturdy enough. They are nice to look at, but I find the price point a very high at $38 and would price these around $25.

These are a bit lightweight for functional bookends. I weighed them on my kitchen scale—only 1.75 lbs each (800g) and top-heavy by design. I would not use them for a line of hardback books. They might work for a line of paperbacks.The color is not the gray pictured in most the listing photos, which I found disappointing. It’s more of a warm, yellowy beige. They feel pleasantly stone-like. The bases don’t have any felt or rubber coating, so perhaps take care on wood shelving.The packaging is sturdy and attractive—certainly giftable.
