I have six panels on a large sliding door in Florida, and I absolutely love them. They really make a difference in the temperature of the room during the day. The sun streams in during the morning, so it's nice to be able to sleep later since the room stays dark. I purchased these in 2023, and they still look great. They are machine washable, which is great since this is a rental property
These curtains exceeded my expectations in every way. I spent a lot of time looking at curtains on Amazon and decided to take a chance on these. I needed curtains for an upstairs bedroom that functions both as a guestroom and has been a makeshift office during COVID. I wanted both room darkening and insulation from both sun and the drafts that come from old windows.The room has an unusual "L" shaped corner window configuration with the longest expanse (124 inches) facing north onto a parking lot with a street light. There is a small window (24 inches) facing west that meets the longest expanse in the corner. I purchased 3 sets of the curtains and hung them with 2 rods that meet in the corner of the wall.I have now had them for a month and found them to be terrific in blocking out light. I do have blinds on the windows. When the blinds are open and the curtains closed, my room is dark. I have found the curtains to be both effective in providing insulation from heat from the west window and the drafts now that the weather has become cooler.I initially hesitated purchasing these curtains as I didn't quite like how the curtains hung in some of the pictures I saw.I now have a few recommendations to increase your satisfaction with these curtains:1) Measure your window and buy enough sets to cover your window adequately. I prefer a tailored pleated look even when the curtains are closed so I bought three sets.2) Buy a substantial curtain rod as the curtains are heavier than a lot of curtains.3) Take time to iron/press the curtains as they will hang so much better. I spent 2 hours ironing mine and used a "pressing" cloth between my iron and the curtain fabric just to be extra careful. The wrinkles fell right out.In closing, I am very happy with these curtains. They are a great value for the price. Take a chance. I hope you'll be as pleased as I am.
Arrived on time, well packaged and undamaged.I like the quality of these curtains.The look exactly as described.I allowed them to tumble in the dryer and then ironed prior to hanging them up.They seem to be of good quality.I'm not sure why the builder put a very large window in the bathroom, but these should give me some privacy.
These were great curtains, very well made, were total blackout and helped reduce heat from the room. I really liked that they came with curtain tie backs too. Ultimately I had to return them though because the color did not work for me. I wanted the curtains to match my turquoise bedspread as much as possible, and these curtains were more blue/gray than turquoise. For reference, the picture shows this curtain on the left, and another brand of blackout curtain that I decided to keep on the right, they are both laying on the bedspread.I would have kept these if the color matched better because I was very happy with the quality. I did purchase this brand of curtain in another color for other rooms in the house, and I am very happy with those. They are not even close to wrinkle-free however, as I have been using the curtains for close to 3 months now and the factory creases can still be seen, and I have not tried to get them out yet. Overall, I would highly recommend these curtains if the color is what you are looking for!
I bought two sets of these, for my kids’ bedrooms. The curtains they had were room darkening and they were driving me nuts having trouble falling asleep and waking up at 5:30am! They are blackout, exactly what I was going for! They are also inexpensive which is very nice, especially in kids rooms. I liked the color options and the length options.I bought the dark grey and they are definitely a dark grey and true to the color in the photo. I also got the blue. They don’t look like the same color in the photo. They are more of an earthy tone blue. I really like them!I would definitely buy these again.
These drapes are a lovely cream color and definitely keep the room dark. I really like how the backing is a light color as some blackout drapes have black backing and it doesn't look as nice from the outside of the window. These were quite wrinkled when they arrived, which I expected based on some of the reviews. But I borrowed a travel steam iron, which I had never used before, and was able to "iron" the drapes while they hung. It did not take very long and the steamer worked so well immediately. The pictures show the drapes after the wrinkles were removed, but you'll also see a couple pictures of how deep the wrinkles were before that. I'm very happy with this purchase and the price was awesome.
