TRUE Black-Out When Hung at Correct Height - Insulating - BEST on a Slider/Window

I need to review these drape panels in categories. I put them up on a shower tension rod to get an idea if/how they'd work with a standard curtain road (at a full length heights) as we have this very expansive 60" + opening into our bathroom that does not have doors. It has three windows - facing the SW and drenches the bathroom AND the master bedroom with sunlight. My husband likes the room dark and muted.Black Out Quality - 5 STARS(even with the small gap at the top, these are serious black-out drapes)Faux Tweedy Linen Side - 5 STARS(these are nice neutral with texture) the first photo best shows the neutral colorBack Side -- 2 STARSThe backside is a "plastic like" material - dark brown - super unattractive for this application one can view from inside the bathroom (vs a window which you won't see) - Reminded us of an old heavy-duty shower curtain. The red arrows show the front tweedy side hem contrast.Insulation -- 4 STARSMy husband appreciated how these kept the bathroom much warmer while he showers -- and -- that warmth didn't enter the master bedroom -- so this is a positive for a window application.I've purchased several variations of Deconovo Blackout Curtains/Drapes and been pleased. This was an experiment - special application which we're not fond of "the look" on both sides... again -- not the typical use. I would recommend them for insulation, true black-out, and the easy "back tab" slide.

Black out curtains

These black out curtains are a little different than I expected. The fabric quality feels kind of like plastic and is stiff but it looks nice in general. The back of the curtain is solid so literally no light comes through so full light blocking which is great! The color was soft and as expected. I would say if you want a a slowly curtains this is not it but if you want full light blocking get it! Definitely worth the money!

Stiff, thin fabric with very good blackout quality

The linen weave on these was much different than expected. It’s more a tight weave that doesn’t have that natural linen look at all. The color was lighter than expected, as the weave has a lot of bright white threads in it. The blackout backing certainly will work, as it’s a plastic type stiff layer. It reminds me a trash bag or the landscaping material you put under mulch. Overall they are pretty thin curtains and the fabric is looks cheap and stiff. These are the type of curtains I would expect for half this price a big box discount store. They are not bad, but they just do not drape like they do in the photo, they are too stiff.

decent quality curtains

Decent two pack of darkening thermal curtains. The backside has a brown vinyl feel layer that is supposed to be thermal. I am using it with attention rod between my open basement and the next level up to try to maintain heat on the upper levels during the winter. I'm not sure they do a very efficient job of that but it's better than nothing. The size is true I believe. It's ni.ce to have a Tupac for the price. They are a little on the thinner side so not exactly thermal. The color is gray as expected.

These are fantastic!

They really do dampen sound and block light. They do a great job of insulating the room against cold. The back lining is a brown rubber-like texture, so be aware that will be the color seen from the street.The grey fabric is a thick, tight weave that looks really classy. I was able to hang them straight from the package, no iron was needed and no wrinkles were present.These are thick, surprisingly lightweight, and nicer than any other blackout curtains I’ve used.
