Great for quart mason jar storage in otherwise unused spaces!
I own 3 of these shelving units now. After hunting a long time trying to find adequate storage for my dried herbs without using up valuable kitchen space, I found these last Fall and realized the dimensions were perfect for the side of an upstairs closet wall. This area of the hall is typically low light during the day, and the closet door doesn't open far enough to touch the shelves. And even better, they are very pretty, lightweight, and unobtrusive. The units are well built for the minimal weight I needed, and there is no wasted space with 4 quart jars per shelf. There are two welded loops for hanging at the top corners. Eventually, I might add small bottom brackets, but these have held up just fine since installing with the hanging loops last Fall. I had wood surfaces to screw them into, so you would need wall plugs if attaching directly to drywall. The best feature of the shelves is that my jars don't sit right at the front edge, but have at least 1/2" - 3/4" buffer. The metal X bracing on both sides is also invaluable so I do not have to worry about the jars sliding off the side edges. Maybe I will eventually add small elastic cords across the fronts of each row, but they already sit evenly on each shelf as is. The back corner-to-corner welded X gives perfect stability to the whole unit and keeps it squared. The price point is higher than my budget initially wanted ($45.49 for full width), but I was relieved it didn't jump higher between my first two purchases and the third unit I just purchased last week. I don't foresee any reason to replace them. Shipping boxes are sturdy and the unit comes assembled in one piece; they are easy to install immediately.I can honestly recommend these to anyone hoping for a way to store jars like these, out of the way, but with instant access when you need to grab one. :)
