Nice frames, but not completely as pictured

I bought these as gifts for Christmas. The frames are good quality for the price. Mycomplaint is that in the advertising picture, the white distressed frame looks like it has a wooden undertone where the distress marks are. When received in person, it’s actually a silver shiny undertone which isn’t what I was looking for. Since I’m gifting them, it wasn’t a big deal. If these were frames I planned to keep for my house, I would’ve returned them. They’re not the rustic, farmhouse look as advertised. The shiny undertone throws it off, making them look a little cheap.

You get what you pay for but these look far better than they cost

I am picky about frames. I've been known to pay $100+ for custom framing for artwork that I care about. That being said, the budget doesn't always allow for custom framing and sometimes an off the shelf frame needs to do. The frames themselves are fantastic--the white and the detailing looks beautiful and expensive. The plastic "glass" that covers the artwork isn't amazing but it's good enough. Be careful when you're putting it on not to scratch it (it's easy to scratch and the scratches will show) but if you don't scratch it, it'll protect your art and look good on the wall. I am pleased with this purchase and used the second frame to frame a piece of art I bought at a gallery for a friend. I will likely buy more and would recommend them to a friend.
