These are excellent frames, well-made, and the cost was very reasonable. They look elegant; expensive, actually. I was pIeasantly surprised at how nice they are. I gave photos to my siblings and siblings-in-law using these frames. They liked the pictures (!), but they also each commented on how nice the frames are.
The frames are exactly as described. 8X10 and more expensive looking silver frames. Came as described and were firmly packed to prevent breaking. Put pictures in and proudly above mantel now.

Look great from the front. From the back they're clearly made cheaply. But they do just what they're expected to do.Watch out for fingerptints on the front metal. They need to be wiped off after handling. Not a big problem, just a fact.
I was looking for frames that matched the ones I had been buying from crate and barrel but that had disappeared from their lineup. These looked like a decent match - and far cheaper - so I gave them a try. Now they are my go-to frames. They look great - elegant - but they are very affordable. Just bought a set for my mother-in-law so that she can frame her favorite grandchildren photos for display.
This frame did not work for the 4" x 6" photos I wanted to display. The image opening on the frames is 4" x 6" or even a little bit bigger. To use with a 4 x 6 picture you will need a mat or else tape it to a cardboard backing and hope the edge of the photo doesn't show. Or you could use a larger photo and trim the edges so it will fit in the frame. The frames are actually very pretty and I would have kept them if they were better suited to a 4 x 6 photo. Even a ridge on the inside of the frame to hold a 4 x 6 photo in place would have been helpful. I have returned the frames.
The frames are nice looking for the small family pics on end tables, etc.
