I love everything about this jar candle! It smells amazing, with a warm, sweet pumpkin aroma with hints of vanilla and spice. The jar is gorgeous, and looks expensive, like something you would find in a boutique shop. The burn time is quite long for the 5.3oz candle size, and the wick did not smoke or leave any charred bits in the wax. This candle is perfect for giving as a gift. Decorative package, with orange, decorative glass, & very nice pumpkin spice scent. Good gift idea

This candle arrived in a nice decorative, sleeved box, with a gift-wrap folded cellophane encasing it all which makes it good for gifting. With the lid, is 3.5" high. The lid appears and feels like bamboo with a flat, with an edge that has just a bit of bite, and it has a silicone seal that meets the glass. The decorative orange glass feels similar to a decorative canning jar, relatively thick, and with the texture of the design. The aroma, in case you only read the product title for the ad, is indeed a pumpkin 'spice' (not just pumpkin), and the cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, along with the pumpkin, all come through very well, going well with the orange glass, and with Halloween. This candle has some rules regarding the length of the wick, letting it rest after 4 hours of burning, and not relighting or moving while the soy wax is still liquid. And when there is only 1/4 left, it recommends no longer burning/relighting. The jar will be nice to keep after burning, as the bordered sunflower design and color is decorative. The candle burns nicely and the scent is a good representation of pumpkin spice. This is a very nice candle for its size due to its colored glass, well-executed pumpkin spice scent, attractive packaging, and natural soy, making it a decent value in my opinion.

Gorgeous glass jar

Darjen candles are among my favorites and this pumpkin candle was no exception. The glass and bamboo candle holder is absolutely stunning. They look amazing when lit up. The smell is nice but not overwhelming. The wax burns nice and clean all the way through. The candles burn for a long length of time as well. I didn't time it but I burn a lot of candles and this one lasts for quite a while burning it a couple of hours a day. I love the bamboo lids as I place them under the candle while it is burning to keep my table from burning when the wick gets down to the bottom. I also use the lid to snuff the candle. These may seem spendy but they are a good value.

Smells good in the jar, but when burning we really didn't get much aroma from it!

This pumpkin candle smells nice upon opening it and taking it out of the package. It comes in a nice pinkish glass and a wooden stopper for the cap.Upon lighting this candle and letting it burn I wasn't impressed with the amount of scent it put off for the price. I expected to walk into the room and smell it burning, but I didn't . I thought maybe it was just me so asked my husband when he came in from work and he did not notice it either. For that reason alone, I think it is completely over priced. THe reason I want a scented candle is to experience the scent and with this, we did not.For what it is, we expected so much more, we feel this is highly overpriced and would not order again.

I wish I could put my finger on what makes this Darjen pumpkin candle stand out. Certainly the glass container is a show off. In fact, when the candle has been lit for the last time, I will still keep this beautiful glass candle holder. But the pumpkin stands out too. It’s got an authentic spice to its scent, but not a regular pumpkin spice. It’s a much lighter pumpkin spice than I usually get for candles touting that fragrance. I do wish the candle had a stronger output, but on its own, it still stands out. I recommend giving this charming candle a try.
