Funny sign, basic fox
The message on this sign made me laugh so hard that I knew that I had to order this. It 's just as funny in person, but there were a few things I noticed about this item. First, check the measurements because it isn't anywhere near as big as it seems to be in the photos. Still, it's a decent size. The sign part is about the size of a large index card, but with the black lettering on the plain white background, there is plenty of contrast to be able to read it.The message is so subtle that people have to stop to look at it for awhile before they realize what it says, and I love the anticipation of watching them figure it out. To be fair, some of them never do get it, but that's okay because I do.As for the fox holder, it disappoints me, and that's why I deducted a star. Instead of looking cute and smarmy like the sign, it looks like a children's toy. Yes, this is a fun and playful sign, but i's more likely to be displayed by an adult, not a child. The elementary school look of the fox kind of ruins the intellectual nuance of the sign for me. In fact, I'm thinking of setting it up on a little easel instead of the fox just so that my desk doesn't look like I'm in grade school. That could all be just my personal hang-up, but it is the reason that I deducted a star.I love the sign part and would recommend this product just to get that, but with the fox, I can take it or leave it.
