These are holding 2-84” thermal curtains, the adhesive pads are foam and very sticky. The rods are sturdy. I do wish they sent extra adhesive pads. These will peel paint! I like the finish. Good bang for your buck, I will be buying more. For you girlies that don’t have tools, these are great. With out extra adhesive pads they are a pain to re-use.
Decided to use the screws so we had to drill the holes which was a little bit of a struggle at first, but once we got the first bracket installed it was easy installing the other 2. It’s a great value for the price. Seems to be good quality as well. It’s exactly what I was looking for to hang my living room curtains.
Bought this for the sole purpose of not screwing a hole in the wall, and I had to put a hole in the wall. The adhesive cannot carry weight of curtains and the fragile rods. The at back part attached to the wall via the adhesive pulled the paint off the wall causing it to protrude like a mold, the metal rod fell to the floor and bed. The adhesive doesn’t peel off the wall easily(but it did peel), bought paint to fix the damage.If you purchase this don’t do it with the intent of using the adhesive, this is not renter friendly, and does need to be screwed in. A power tool not required as instructions claim.I would not recommend this product, bad value for the cost, the black matte looks nice but that’s the only positive about it the rods suck and will be replaced.
Works great. The glue is super strong. Adhere once. Heat knife to remove. It will remove from the wall what you glue it to.You might as well just use the wall anchors or some 3m removables. Wtf its just a tiny curtain😉
I was a little nervous about purchasing these because many reviews said that they fell down shortly after installing, but mine did not! I don't own a drill, so I nailed them into the wall instead of drilling in the brackets for screws, which is definitely less secure. Additionally, I have very bumpy walls with several layers of old paint, yet the brackets have still held up after several months. My curtains are fairly heavy considering they are black-out curtains, but the rods are able to hold up their weight. Overall, I'm very pleased with how they look and that they are still standing. The adhesive on the backs must be very strong since I didn't technically put them up correctly.
I was amazed at how simple this was to install—no drilling, no damage, and it holds up great! The gold finish looks elegant, and the adhesive mounts are strong and secure. Perfect for rental spaces or lightweight curtains. Definitely recommend for a quick, clean setup!
We ordered the set of two. The length is achievable due to the adjustable sliding pole at the end. Arrived on time, easy to install, blah blah blah. However, there are a few things to be aware of.Thing #1: THESE ARE SKINNY LOW-QUALITY POLES (THAT NEED TO BE DRILLED INTO THE WALL). We purchased them to hang sunblock-out curtains in our apartment whose owners squawk about holes in the walls. We assumed this would do the trick. If anyone has ever seen or had block-out curtains you'd know they are thick and heavy. They feel flimsy even with the third bracket in the middle.Even though these are advertised as "NO DRILL" curtain rods, we needed to drill anyway! Not only are our curtains heavyweights, we also installed these rods on a painted drywall surface. The instructions specifically state that drilling is recommended on paint AND drywall. (Sorry owner, I care more about lowering my electricity bill than a few screw holes.)I've had quality rods that sit out further from the wall allowing your curtains to glide open and closed. These curtain rods hug the wall a bit much, forcing me to tug a little at the curtains (from the top) to open and close them. However, it's not a big deal though, it still looks nice.Thing #2: IF YOU NEED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, DO IT ONLINE. The product comes with instructions that are so microscopic, the words look like white decoration in teal bars. Luckily, the instructions are provided right here on Amazon in standard-sized print.Thing #3: CHECK ALL OF THE PARTS BEFORE INSTALLATION. We were able to put one of the rods together. Then we noticed there was a defective pole for the other rod. All of the poles (except one for the adjustable pole on the end) come with screw holes to attach the poles. One of the "M" poles we received does NOT have the hole. It's hollow inside.It CANNOT be swapped out for another pole because you cannot attach the poles without screwing them into one another. We must use gorilla glue, duck tape, lion teeth, or something to hold this together. We already installed the other rod without knowing this, therefore it's too late to return it. (I'm not taking this crap down.)I like my block-out curtains but I don't like these curtain rods. The fact that I don't like them wouldn't have made me subtract stars. But because the rods make it tedious to operate the curtains, plus one is defective, this product gets 3 stars.
