The curtain rod is in sections which are easily assembled and very sturdy. I used the rod on my pergola to hang curtains to block the afternoon sunshine since it gets very hot during the summer. Works great!
This is a nice sturdy curtain rod. I have silver curtains and first purchased the "nickel" color. When it arrived, the color was not nickel at all, it had a more gold tone to it (it was not the gold they sell). So, I exchanged it for the grey, which is a nice dark/matte color. If looking for silver grey, I do not recommend the nickel color, but the grey is perfect.
Solid rod and mounts. Easy to assemble and set up
It worked fine but some piece that were needed to be screwed by hand together like the rod length had a lot of resistance in places making it hard to get screwed together. Once I overcame that annoyance, everything worked like it should and its nice and heavy Duty!
VERY strong. Hard to think what could ever be too much for this particular long rod. Assembled very well, but with all metal-to-metal use vaseline.Push small end into larger end fully, before starting to thread.
