I LOVE this rod. As you can see in the picture, I used it for a different purpose. However, it was really easy to install and is made with great quality materials. Super pretty. Every person who comes over comments on them. There is no doubt they would hold up great for heavy curtains.
The aesthetic of these rods is classy. They’re smooth and the curtain rings glide effortlessly over the rod. These rods gave my den a completely new look and feel.
I've had this curtain rod for awhile and finally was able to put it up. i like it! it looks great. it's sturdy. installing this curtain rod was really easy too. i installed this on a window that's 36inches and I was wondering if the rod would sag in the middle especially with the heavier blackout curtain I put on it and there isn't any sagging at all. i have a similar curtain rod in another part of the house with a lighter weight curtain and spent more money on it and it is terrible. it sags in the middle real bad. this is a really good curtain rod for a better price than other ones that are similar.
This is strong and sturdy. I use it for hanging clothes in a closet. It does not bow like a wood rod. It was easy to hang up, and it looks nice.
I ordered these to replace a similar telescoping rod that I had purchased at a big box store that had come with bad hardware and the rod was bending over time.When I first got this out of the package, I thought I'd received a defective one because, unlike countless others I've purchased, the thickest part of the rod is in the middle! This makes so much more sense than ALL the others that have the narrowest rod as the middle support.If you need the length of all the pieces, remove the finials, remove the narrower rod (7/8th inch) from inside the thickest rod and grab the extra narrower (also 7/8th) rod from the package. These 2 narrow rods will be the exterior and the thick rod (1 inch) will be in the middle to support the weight. The only challenge with this arrangement is that the extension/telescoping feature is lessened so you have to maneuver a very long rod to the window because the two narrow pieces are both long and there's no where for them to go within the thicker rod.In other words, the shortest length when using all 3 rods will be the combined length of the two narrower rods-- for us that was about 90 inches to maneuver 9 feet high lol. But to us, stability and ability to bear the curtain weight is much more important than a larger telescoping range. We didn't even install the middle support bracket and the rod is showing NO signs of bending.I also left the existing brackets from the big box store on the wall and only replaced the rod. However, the brackets that come with this curtain are so much thicker and better designed that I'm leaning towards dragging the ladder back out and replacing the old brackets with these. Will update if there are any surprises.The brackets came a little sharp on the edges so wearing gloves isn’t a bad idea. It won’t be noticeable once they’re installed so high, but it’s something to be aware of while installing.Also, the brackets are circles rather than the type the rod lays in. This looks cool but I can see a greater inconvenience of having to remove the rod from this style of bracket. In fact, because the limited telescoping range I mentioned earlier, I would have to use one traditional bracket to lift out one end of the rod to be able to remove the others from the circular ones since the rod can’t be shortened much. We installed in a corner window area so there is a wall on one side and another wall of windows on the other—there just wouldn’t be room to slide the rod out of the circular brackets.Overall, if this style works for your space, I definitely recommend!
Needed a very basic curtain rod for our guest room and this perfectly fit our needs. The quality was as expected. It looks nice and fits the room great. The thickness of the rod was sufficient. Recommend to others.
This is probably the best curtain rod I’ve never used. It’s very heavy duty and does not bend or sag in the middle like a lot of others it’s super easy to put up, just two screws on each side the. A little set screw to keep the rod in place. I love that the rod goes through the bracket and doesn’t just sit on top. That combined with the two end caps makes it impossible that it is ever fall from the holder. The brackets are nice powder coated metal so they are strong as well, it comes with all hardware and spare hardware to install. Even has an extra set screw which is awesome, because they are tiny and I lost one. Haha,I love the matte black color, it’s very nice and will match our other matte black finishes. The price is right on par with other stores but the quality is so much better. You’ll be happy.
