These remarks may be a little too long. Until recently I had a 1970s style Air Con in the living room window where my new 21st Century unit is located. I purchased the curtain rods and curtains because the old unit was physically much larger, mounted at the top of the window and blocked the sunlight (and the heat that the sun gave off). The new unit is much more compact and incredibly efficient. The increased exposure to the sunlight challenged the new AC unit. With the new drapery the sunlight is blocked and the AC can really do its job. The drapes were easy to install. Curtain rod is quite sturdy. The geometric design is pleasant to look at and the curtains can be easily opened and closed.
This is a solid upgrade from the flimsy rod we were using to cross our double french door. We used almost the full extension of this entire assembly to cover a 114" section over our new triple french door. The bars aren't bending down from the weight and we used 2 96" long curtain panels on either side of the center hanger and it still has zero issues holding them up. The addition curtain ties that came with it are velcro and hold both panels on either side very well. This is lightweight and has full ability to adjust from a tiny curtain rod to a full 120" opening. Well worth the cost. The hardware is sturdy and strong and there weren't any issues with fitment.
Make sure you have an extender! The rods are shaped just so you can't get the drill in the screw straight on.Other than that they were easy to install.

I bought these curtain rods because it’s hard finding curtain rods for our long living room windows!Our windows are 9ft long and the adjustable rods were a perfect fit!I love that the rods screw togethe, and you can takeaway/ add more as needed.The curtain rod is super lightweight, holds our curtains well!Overall, it was a great price for this curtain rod!
