Nice looking and light blocking

I ordered a set of these curtains in the linen shade in the 96-inch length. I actually ordered two sets since they are spanning a set of French doors with windows on the sides. These fit perfectly! And, the linen color, while a little darker than I was anticipating (it's more like an oatmeal or burlap), is still pretty. The best part of these curtains is that they really do block out light. My bedroom is now super dark, and feels like it's warmer, too, so maybe the thick curtains are blocking some of the draft from the doors. The curtains came folded in a tight square, but the creases are falling out after a week or two of use. There was no product odor when I unpacked them and the quality is great and seems very good for the price!

Great value, look and function!

These are full light-blocking drapes. In my pix you can see the difference. I had to turn light on to take a pic with drawn drapes. All pix taken at 3 pm afternoon in Southern California. They are lined with polyurethane (grey color). Pictured is color “white”. They are very light greige-ish color. Which I am happy about. But if you want pure white, dont get these. I wanted something “linen” color, but those colors seemed too beige, so I am real happy with this off-white. Wall color in my pix is pure white, but this room despite of a big window, doesn’t get that much light thus the choice of ultra pure white wall color! Anything darker makes this bedroom look like dungeon😅 Size-wise: if you want your drapes to actually drape even when drawn closed, you need to get DOUBLE the window width. That’s with any drapes, not just these. Pictured window is 95” wide, ceiling is 8’ (96”). To obtain “a full draping” result, I bought 2 packs of 52x95” (resulting in 208” width). I hang the brackets 6.5” wider on each side of window, and 5.5” from the ceiling. Then I shorten the 95” drapes by 3.5”. That way they hang half an inch off the ground (so they dont get dirty), and 4” below the ceiling (making the room look a bit taller). Don’t expect these to look great out-of-the-package (no store-bought drapes do). They need to be steam-ironed, ideally on flat surface first. It’s just much faster than upright steamer (you will have to climb up and down a stool step 100x). Once you steam the hell out of them, hang them up immediately AKA you steam one panel + hang it right away. Then SHAPE IT! It needs to be done while the drape is warm. Create your pleats and use SOME WEIGHT on the panel ends (I use steel clamps). These cheaper drapes don’t come with weights in corners (it’s a thing in case you didnt know😊 Drapes need weights on each end, otherwise the ends curl upward). Lastly a thing about hiding the brackets. Maybe it’s common knowledge by now: you loop the last ring OUTSIDE of the bracket mount (see pix). That way the bracket never shows and also your drapes stay in place, you can’t “over-draw” them😁

Great curtain quality and black out.

We just got new windows and needed curtains instead of the blinds we had and loved. These curtains are great quality! They look and feel great! My only somewhat negative feedback is there is some irregularity where the grommets are placed making a couple panels seems shorter than the others. We were strategic where we hung them to ensure they weren’t next to another one that looked really different. They black out nicely which is needed for our East facing 4-season room.
