This chair cover worked perfectly. The chair is originally grey velvet and I moved it into my office, and Grey didnt look good, so I bought this. I love the color, design and material. As you can see it was a little too big and I used some tacks on the bottom of the chair to pin up the excess material. I knew it was too big by the measurements but I was hoping I could make it work and I did! I like that the seat cushion fits tight and it doesn't move after you sit in the chair. It all turned out better than I expected, yay!

Great covers, shipping delayed

They look great and fit well. We tried another option that was too big. This is definitely a snug fit but it works. Our chairs look a million times better. Fabric is soft and easy to install. The only reason I have 4 stars is because shipping was delayed. We ordered it on a Wednesday and it was supposed to be here by Saturday, but it wasn’t even shipped out until Monday. Weather delayed it which is understandable but that was after it shipped out days later. We also weren’t able to cancel our order (now we are okay with it, we are very happy with them) but the shipping was a bit annoying.

how does it fit

I got these slip covers because my dog likes to snooze in the chairs. Slip covers can be removed and washed, so I had no trouble deciding what to get. They do not fit like gloves. I was hoping to have some nice looking furniture in the living room. They look ok. Nobody will mistake them for custom upholstery. Having said that, I'm relatively happy with them. Their job is to provide me with an easy and inexpensive way to keep the chairs from being dirty. Dog drool is not easy to get out of upholstery. My dog is 13 years old, not much longer on Earth, and when that day comes I can have the chairs re-done. Dog is more important. The material sure does stretch, in fact there are several places where I need to fold it up so it doesn't look bad. The elastic around the bottom is good and keeps the cover in place.
